I like the shield and sword as my weapon combo of choice.

I prefer sword fighting and heavy magic attacks. The boomerang is usually Sabre's last method of defense or offense, besides hand to hand combat.

i like hit and run sorts>.< it's kinda effective^-^ dramallama and magic is kewl but my charie doesn't know anything since her memory loss. sweatdrop heart

While this poll may be a bit out of date...
Personally, I let the weapon pick the character, though more often then not, they end up picking twin silver sai. *nods* And/or a heavy long bow with blue roan feathered arrows with either stone or silver tips, all depends on the rp really and the character. *shrugs* My two cents for the moment..

Usually twin katana, but one katana can be nice since it leaves the other hand free for whatever.
