What are some of your favorite books (other than Eddings)?
I love The Deed of Paksennarrion by Elizabeth Moon and the Firekeeper series by Jane Lindskold to name a couple.

I like the Magic of Xanth books by Piers Anthony. Douglas Adams is awesome. Juliet Marlier's Sevenwaters Trilogy is amazing. I also enjoy Phule's Company and the Myth series by Robert Asprin, among other series.

I've only read a couple of Xanth novels by Anthony. I did read his Incarnations of Immortality, which I loved. My favorite was Fate.

I like Dragonlance, actually. The Lord of the Rings is a given of course...
My favorite book series is "Sir Apropos of Nothing" by Peter David. Those books are the greatest. razz

I like Garth Nix's The Old Kingdom Trilogy. To be perfectly honest I need to go out and get some new books. I used to get one every week-or-so, but that just stopped '_'

Gordon Pape writes some fascinating Financial books that I really find interesting. (Yes, I do read financial books. Yes I am a weird 14 year old. And yes, I have been reading them since I was ten. :XP) Tamora's Pierce's books are lovely. I really enjoyed the Da Vinci Code. Robert Jordon writes splendidly, while he does seem to be milking it a bit, and Terry Goodkind is just great.
