Since I haven't posted in the guild in a gazillion years, and failed to think of any new topics related to V, I thought that we could talk about another amazingly awesomely marvelous movie:
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YAY.

Jack: What are you doing here? You look bloody awful.
Norrington: You hired me. I can't help it if your standards are lax.
Jack: You smell funny.

I liked the movie. Davy Jones looked awesome. Plus Jack constantly shooting the monkey made me happy.

Sometimes a bit chaotic and disconnected, but it kept me laughing. The very very end (don't know if we're allowed spoilers) was awesome. The epic battle was also awesome.

I felt sad for Norrington. Everyone seems to be anoyed with him for stealing the heart form Jack, but I don't think that should matter. Think of all the times Jack betrayed everyone else . . . 3nodding

I loved seeing him as a drunk. He was a jerk in the first movie and now he's on the bottom rim of society. Just like Jack.

Did anyone else find the conversation between Ragetti and Pintel about the pronunciation of the word "Kraken" absolutely hysterical? I know I did. rofl

Davey Jones was cool and very creepy. What was with the Phantom of the Opera pipe organ thing?

Bill Turner made me so sad. crying heart

Also, there was not enough Barbossa. Next to Jack, he's my favorite. I miss him terribly.

Lolz, either that or The Phantom rents it out to other disfigured people. 4laugh The third one should have plenty of Barbossa for all. surprised Gotta love the hat. That man has serious style. *sizzle* blaugh

I loved the bit where the witch lady (Don't know names well eventhough I've seen It like 5 times...) gives Jack the jar of dirt and he speculates so she asks for it back and he's like 'No' I just love that childish side to the character, he's so well thaught out.

I liked the new scruffy Norrington. THe movie had some good jokes, it was pretty entertaining.

Truthfully, I didn't like the movie overall. (Sorry fans. Only my opinion.)
I like the first one a lot better.

But it had its moments for me,
and it had scruffy Norrington. biggrin
