Most of us have already seen, or at least heard off, the secret ending to Kingdom Hearts 2. You know what I'm talking about, (highlight) The Keyblade War.There has been much speculation that Kingdom Hearts 3 will not actually feature the KH/CoM/KHII crew nor will it be under the title Kingdom Hearts at all. Crappy, I know, but we're just going to have to deal with it. I have also read that apparently the three figures speaking in the preview represent Kairi, Riku and Sora, but are not actually them to begin with. Simply representations. I have found some pretty spiffy rumors and theories in The Kingdom Key. Stuff you should seriously think about. So, what do YOU think is to come? Are the rumors true? Is the gang really NOT coming back for a fourth kick at the can? Does this mean no more of our sometimes horribley irritating Sora? Our whiny Kairi? Our broody Riku? Alright, they are good characters, but you get the point.

ยป It'll be under Kingdom Hearts. Halo Three wasn't said to not be under the Halo Name, and it now is.
It's totally going to be a prequel. So no Sora and the Gang. I believe this game is for the storyline followers who will finally find out what the Keyblade actually is.

But if it was a prequel, why would Sora, Riku and Mickey's keyblades be the centre of the crossroads?

That still doesn't explain why it's specifically THEIR keyblades, rather than someone else's. I had this huge theory that it KH3 was actually placed in the future, rather than in the past. The three soliders were actually Sora, Riku and Kairi and it was placed AFTER the keyblade war. It could have been the story of the Keyblade war, starting with say, Sora standing over Riku/Kairi's dead body and then it going into flashback mode to explain what happened. Kind of like God of War. But that theory was dashed when Tetsyua Nomura admitted that the three figures WEREN'T Sora, Riku and Kairi. I am though, still convinced that it's placed in the not-too-distant future or sometime AFTER KH2 rather than before. I read in the Kingdom Key that the three soliders may actualy be "Chaster", ie, the guys to who created the keyblades. I prefer the theory that "Chasers" are the soul parts of a human that turns into a heartless. KH2 mentions that a human is made primarily of the heart/mind, body and soul. The Heartless are the Heart/Mind, the Nobodies are the body...but what about the soul? What if these "Chasers" are the souls of heartless humans? Of course, this is the same theory taken from The Kingdom Key. Fits rather nicely, I think. PLUS...it still fits my not-too-distant-future theory. Haha.

Than that is one ******** up crossroads if thats the future. And a Chaser seems more like a Profession, or a type of person, rather than a soul.

Requ!em Than that is one ******** up crossroads if thats the future. And a Chaser seems more like a Profession, or a type of person, rather than a soul. "Chaser" could simply be the description of what the soul is doing. ie. CHASING it's Nobody and Heartless in attempt to become human and whole again. Now isn't that depressing? What if it's Xehanort's Chaser is trying to find it's Nobody and Heartless? He would simply be a lost soul...how sad. But as far as the profession is concerned, maybe the creators of the keyblade are coming out of the woodworks? I like to think that this is STILL in the future, so perhaps they're taking back all the keyblades claimed or stolen and the crossroads is just their storing area?

With our luck, the thing that made the Keyblade would be something p***y. Like love or something.

Love is always made out to be something super-duper special, and if there are THOUSANDS of Keyblades, well then...Disney just became the biggest hypocrite ever.

That brings up an interesting point. What if these three "Chasers" are not only the creators of the keyblades, but what if they each stand for for each of the crossroads? Sora = Light Riku = Dawn Kairi = Twilight Xenahort/Xemnas = Darkness? Each could have created a set of keyblades that rule over the four domains, the crossroads.
