long ago i hummed a tune so little and simple
as i grew so did my tune, now it wasnt so little
twist and turns and sadness and pain, now it wasnt so simple
now i am older and i hum this tune just like all the others
but one new tune has woven into mine
a tune of promise of peace and joy
love then weaves itself into my tune, and love is very complicated
then a diffrent tune not of any emotion known to man
someone else was singing my tune helping me sing it strong
the son of man is singing my tune helping me when i falter
for the son of man knows all our tunes
cant you hear his whisper?
Jesus continue to light my path with music and knowledge may i walk with light forever amen
