~*Fluffy clouds slowly drift through the deep blue sky, partially obscuring the brightly shining sun. As you walk down the dirt road cutting through the emerald plains, you come to an ancient forest. You can almost feel the life energy radiating from the creatures of this wood, and as you approach, your ears catch a few hints of sweet music coming from the heart of the forest. Curiously, you continue down your path, following the voice, the trees further blocking the rays of the sun as you pass them. As you trek deeper into the woods, you notice a family of squirrels sitting on a branch. They scurry away as you come near, however they seem to move a bit slowly compared to most squirrels you have encountered during your travels. Is it merely your eyes playing tricks on you?*~
~*After what feels like an eternity, you come to a clearing in the forest. The music you heard is quite clear and harmonious now, very beautiful yet foreign singing from a young girl. As you enter the clearing, the overhead breaks, allowing the rays from the sun entry once more, and you can see the song's owner. She wears a long, airy dress the hue of the sky, and a golden circlet and necklace that sparkle brilliantly as the light touches them. Her flowing hair, over half the length of her body, shines sapphire, and her eyes remain shut as she continues her song, unaware of your presence. She clutches a strange instrument, a harp with a frame divided evenly between two colors, cyan and magenta. Her slender fingers pluck the golden strings of her harp occassionally, adding an almost otherworldly lilt to her already enchating tune .*~
~*You approach the girl with innocent fascination, but as you do so, you feel yourself having difficulty moving, almost as if the entire world is slowing. Indeed, as you come closer to the girl, you notice another squirrel squatting near her sandaled feet, motionless. Your gaze moves to the air above her, and you see a sparrow not more than 10 feet above her head, frozen in the sky. Finally, as you find yourself unable to move at all, the girl finishes her song. The birds resume their flight, the squirrel dashes away, and you feel yourself freed from your fourth dimensional prison. However, your momentum also returns, and you stumble forward, a body legth away from the girl. She opens her eyes, revealed to match her hair, and covers her mouth with one hand, her eyes widening in slight embarrassment as she sees you.*~
"Oh, I am so sorry! I did not know you were here!"
~*She stands quickly, sets her harp down, and rushes to your side with a somewhat concerned look on her face, giving you her hand as she helps you to your feet again. After scanning you for a moment, she lets out a sigh of relief and gives you a sweet, heartwarming smile.*~
"It appears you are alright. I am glad."
~*The girl in blue lifts the sides of her skirt slightly and curtseys gracefully before you.*~
"I am Nayru, the Oracle of Ages. Welcome, traveller, to the land of Hyrule."

In this guild, you may post anything you wish about The Legend of Zelda, from discussions about specific games, the series in general, favorite characters, your Gaia cosplay outfits, and so on. I only ask that you seek out related threads and use them instead of making new ones, if possible, and you must follow rules already set by the administration of Gaia Online, of course.
I would like to begin a role-play for this guild once we have enough members. If you wish to apply for a character, please send me a sample role-play session through private messaging. An example is the previous post; while I do not expect everyone to uphold that level of description, I do expect everyone to have some level of description and creativity in their posts; i.e. no "Link goes to the dungeon and kills some monsters, then finds the Triforce." Also, please do not use internet shorthand ("u" for "you", "lol", and so on.)
For now, I would like to limit each member to two characters maximum.
Characters you may not ask to play are:
Link, Princess Zelda, and Ganondorf/Ganon: I will give the right to use one of these characters to members who I feel have earned the right through good role-play.
The three Goddesses of Hyrule: I do not feel these characters should be able to directly interact with others in the Zelda universe.
Nayru, Oracle of Ages: I have claimed this character.
Talon, owner of LonLon Ranch: Khoval has claimed this character.
Kaepora Gaebora, the owl: samhogarth has claimed this character.
Ralph, knight of Labrynna: Diamond Knight has claimed this character.
I will add more to this thread when I feel it is needed. Thank you.

Hey, everyone. I am Ambrosse Leshay, *bows* at your service. I recently moved to Kakariko and I have just been accepted to your guild, so to show my appriciation, I donated 120 gold to your organization.
This is my usual attire, though I often change costumes and aliases. This is due to a very stubborn werewolf who insists on chasing me. So don't be confused if you see me in prisoner clothes and a hockey mask or if my face is wrapped up.
Regardless, I am glad to be here.

xd Well, I just joined the guild, and I'm excited to be here and I'm honored to be accepted. No doubt that "The Legend of Zelda" series of games are the best thing that happened to Nintendo 64 since....ever really!!

As soon as i get some clothes *looks at raggedy pants* ill donate to the guild, biggrin
