Who was your favorite character in the movie/G-novel?
Why? (please explain)

Why? Cause he's just so amazing and I love him. There are NO WORDS
What was you favorite quote made by that character? oh man, there's so many, both speeches, all the Shakespeare quotes, and of course "A revolution without dancing is a revolution not worth having" then there's the part where he tells Evey he loves her. Oh man, practically everything he says!

Why?
He's briliant, he's romantic, he's rebellious, he stands up for what he believes in, he's honest...(If I were to keep going it would be far too much.)
And he's not perfect.
What was you favorite quote made by that character?
This is V!, although if had to choose, I'd say V's TV speech. Particularly this part:
"But if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament, and together we shall give them a fifth of November that shall never, ever be forgot."

It's too easy to say V....so I'm going to say Valerie
Why? (please explain)
She was an example of beauty and bravery, even though she wasn't a huge part in the graphic/movie, she was so important and I don't think V for Vendetta would have been nearly as moving a piece without a character like her.

Why? Because he runs around killing Fascist party members in a Guy Fawkes mask and a wig. wink And besides, who doesn't love V?
My favorite line, hmmm, that's a tough one. LOL I like this one alot though:

My favorite character: V, of course
Why: Because he's awesome. ^^ He's one of those guys that can do everything: fight, cook, plot, charm, everything.
Favorite line: Oh man, there's too many of them. But one that touches me is his responce to Evey wanting to take off his mask. "There is a face behind this mask, but it's not me. Anymore than the muscles underneith, anymore than the bones."
I've also had a soft spot for Finch, but I don't think it would be fair to write another thing for him.

Mr. Woman This was like the most useless thread evar >,< I think that may be why it was never made before. But just for the sake of things, while my favorite character is V I think I'll do my second favorite character. Who: Valerie. Why: Because her strength was inspiring and her story was very moving. Favorite quotation: "But for three years I had roses, and answered to no one."

But just for the sake of things, while my favorite character is V I think I'll do my second favorite character. Who: Valerie. Why: Because her strength was inspiring and her story was very moving. It's fun watching people proclaiming their love for V.
We needed a thread based solely on that.

BRILLIANT.
Fave character(s): V and Finch. I'll rant about Finch since no one else has.
Why? He's quite clever, he has an amazing accent, he's devoted to his job, and every time I see him I want to give him a big hug.
