We here at the GCA have a few things that set us apart from the other gimmicks and cosplayers. As a member of the GCA, you have been hand-picked, sifted through and sorted, all by the guildmaster, who does this to promote a safehaven for those of us who have a common goal.
This common goal is Happiness.
We at the GCA are of a different breed of cosplay and gimmick. We promote happiness and equality in the main forums, bringing a smile to people's faces by way of our avatars, our attitudes, and our carefree spirits.
This does not make us any better or any worse than other members. Remember that. For as gimmicks, we may be entitled to our character's attributes, but those attributes do not define us as people. And to look down upon others, whether by your character's nature, or your own, is not a pleasant thing. It does not give people the warm feeling they have a right to feel in their free time on the internet.
As cosplays and gimmicks, it is not merely for our own personal enjoyment, but for other's as well. We are here to bring a smile on our character's fan's faces, not just our own.
Remember when you go out into the forums, that not only are you a cosplayer, you're a good one. And remember that you don't just represent yourself, you represent your character, you represent that character's basis, and you represent the GCA.

 Don't be cosplaying for e-fame either. You'll give us all a bad name. I already have enough people thinking I only do this for fame, but anyone who talks to me for even five minutes knows it is not the case. neutral

Also, I agree with Pheonix. Seriously, if your craving fame, usually you don't get it x3. I never even thought of e-fame when I made Madame Giry o_o I just wanted to make her into an avvie.
Zhough eet may seem like I talk down to people, I'm really not! I merely want everyone to be a great person. Especially zhe ballet rats. I want zhem to do zhe best zhey can.
