I bought the first and second manga at Anime Expo '06--and I was wondering if anybody had any news regarding a third volume--I know it isnt even finished yet because I bought the second one at the con and it wasnt even released to any normal book stores. So if you know anything, please respond!

the third wont be released for a while because the chapters r releaased first in the magazine shojobeat and the magazines only on the 3 chapter so itll be at least 3 months........i bought the books too and hey r awsome.>^-^<

absolute boyfriend is a great manga
but i kept on missing every chapter..
i remember reading a chapter called "sex" rolleyes
they ended up in a tropical place ( and i was reading it at hawaii)

the 3rd one should be coming out soon, well not soon but in like........ XD i dunno, i'll get back to you on this, it is in the Feb issue of Shojo Beat. so i'll look it up and get back to you XD sorry i'm not more help at the moment. sad

By the third volume, I was just bored with it.
Riiko or whatever just ticked me off to much.

A girl like her doesn't deserve Soshi.

Seriously, how can you pick a doll that's programed to love you over a real human's affections?

i finished the series soo long ago...i didnt really like it because she chose the doll and no soshi and the ending is really sad sad

I read one or two volumes (can't remember) and I really couldn't bring myself to read the rest.
I just usually don't like Yuu Watase's works, and Zettai Kareshi wasn't an exception.
I wasn't fond of most of the characters, except for the childhood friend (Soshi??), and the plot overall wasn't that appealing to me.

Hello guyss!! I like the story of Absolute Boyfriend... It even has a drama now in Japan! wink Hey--for those who want to read Absolute Boyfriend, I think you should go to mangafox.com because AB's already completed there... neutral Well, I think Riiko is a bit chubby but it's okay, hehe! Mika is really mean!! scream It's saddening that Night dies and asks Shoushi to come home to take care of Riiko... crying Well, it has a wondrful ending, anyway! 3nodding

I've read it too and it was both funny and sad. The end was annoying a bit, but I liked it anyway. It's a very good shojo manga. Riiko and Night are pretty funny together but the future thingy drove me into confusion for a while but it got cleared up until the end.
I recommend it to any drama lovers. heart
