[ ♥ ] :: Total slaughter. Total slaughter. ::  And school assigned books don't count. So who here actually just reads for the fun of reading? I dont read all that much other then manga, last book I started was some random book I got in the mail last month. Never finished. Last I read was probably in like August when I re-re-re-read "The Long Hard Road Out Of Hell" [Marilyn Manson's Biography] xD I don't read too often. :: I won't leave a single man alive. :: [ ♥ ]

I read all the time.
...I'm reading The Things They Carried by Tim O'brien right now. It's about the vietnam war and its effects on people involved with it.
I also just finished Pablo Neruda's 100 Love Sonnets. They were really inspiring.
And I'm starting a book called The Rape of Shavi this weekend that's an allegorical account of European colonialism in Nigeria.
...Yea.

Was it good?Very good and funny ^_^ Its just a compilation of a lot of George Carlins materail. He is by far my favorite comedian.

It depends. I write for a living so I read. I don't really read any other books besides my own or manga, unless they can grab my attention. There aren't many books out there that interest me, though I do love to read. I like horror stories, or suspense stories. I hate biographies, scifi, or just random stories...not sure what to classify them as. The Harry Potter books aren't the best, but they interest me more than "When I was a little girl, my mother and father owned a little farm outside of--" *snore*

 --[.A.S.U.K.A.]--I enjoy reading series. There was one I read a long time ago...can't remember what it was though domokun I like the books our teacher gave us to read surprised

I'm the same as Masami. Some books just don't interest me. I read magazines more than books. I did read one called "Tokyo Pop" it was pretty good. It's a book, not the magazine gonk

National Geographic and Print and Cosmo.
And Time.
Which I guess is kind of an odd selection.

i love to read i read alot i love to read harry potter books i use to read goosebumps those were cool and hardy boys also outsiders and the giver
and i can go on but i wont razz

i was always behind in reading during my first years of school. then i was put in a help group for reading. and they kicked me out 2 weeks later becasue i was smarter then all the other kids in the group. The teacher actually had to tell me to put my hand down to let the other kids answer. and then the year after, grade three, i was reading harry potter. go figure.
I like to read, but as many of you said, some books just don't seem to interesting to u. it depends on the book. I am into witch books, like harry botter. I am also into books about growing up; the alice series, sweet valley, the baby sitter club, etc. I dont read many novels, only harry potter. I'm a potter fan okay! lol. But i dont go crazy about it. Theres a book i've been readin for 4 years now. I still have have the book to go. i stopped reading it cuz it got boring and then i started reading it again 3 years later, last year, and then stopped.
I like to write stories too, but find i don't have the patience to wait till i write the ending...weird i know.
