Alright. I know you don't like big long firsts posts, so I'll try and keep this relatively short. Please be sure to read everything.

Rules
1.)No flaming, bashing, or otherwise being cruel or mean to the people in this thread. Everyone has a right to get involved, and have an opinion!
2.)Please follow the Gaia ToS.
4.) Please be literate- No chatspeak, leetspeak, and please try to have propper spelling and grammar. That means capitolizing at the beginings of sentances, stuff like that. I'd also like to note something else, so I don't get confused when you post- Please, whenever a different person in a conversation starts speaking, start a new paragraph! (Ex: You are talking to a monk. In you post, the monk will have a paragraph. When your char. starts talking, they get their own new paragraph.) this is just so I don't get confused. smile
5.) Please PM me your character profiles!
6.) Title your PM 'flying ninjas with bagel bites, my profile' if you have read all the rules so far.
7.) Please don't quote people in your posts! The quotes get long, and clutter the page.
8.) Please use brackets or some sort of notice when you speak Out of Character. I'd like it if you didn't chat, too. There's a section for chatting, I believe.

This is where I'll post character profiles, nice and neat, all in one post. I'll start off with mine:

Gaia name: GhosttownBaby
Character Name: Rinkota Amaru
Age: 15
Race: Dark Angel
Personality: Very tempermental and secretive. She dislikes telling people about her past, and can get very agressive when people pester her about it. She doesn't talk much, but if she does open up to you, and trust you, she will be a great friend.
Appearence:Rinkota is one of the taller people in her small family, measuring 5'9" in hieght. Her crimson red hair is always swept up in a tight, spiky ponytail, though one strip of hair covers one of her intuitive golden eyes. Her skin is a very pale shade, with plum red lips. The bottom half of her face is covered, for the mostpart, by the collar of her long Black Gunner Coat. Beneath that coat are black jeans, that are fairly tight, and a halter-neck, tight tank top with maroon lace along the top of the tank. The 'halter' part clasps around her neck, with thin straps attaching the collar to the tank top. She is fairly lanky, having long arms, legs and neck. She has two pairs of black, feathery wings from her shoulder blades. The top pair is the larger, and the lower are longer and narrower, and appear to be spikey. As for weapons, she has Two kunai, one made of onyx, the other of ruby. Each has a special symbol carved into it. On the front side of both, "Avengers for Life" and on the back side of both, a carved rose. They were given to her to her old boyfriend, before he died.

Race: 1/3 Black cat demon, 1/3 human, and 1/3 silver fox demon
Personality: Hyper, sarcastic, headstrong, and gets made eaisily

Other: She has two silver fox spirits that only the very powerful can hear and see them, including her, that follow her and give her guildance, their names are Moon and Star, they have the ablity to go through and make people unable to move for about ten minutes, can poison thier enemies slowly and painfully, and can take control of the enemy. When Renka gets angery or someone close to her dies, her eyes and hair turn a crimson, no matter what form she's in.

Character Name: Akira
Age: 17
Race: kitsune(fox)
Personality: She very nice, and caring she's the head of her clan. She looks out for everyone including her friends. She a bit lonely at times for reason you'll find out.

Character Name: Minako
Age: she seems 16 but its way older than that
Race: neko
Personality: she is kind of reserved and does not talk to much, she love fighting. even tough she might seem cold whe just met, hse is really friendly and caring with those she care, and if she opens her self to you you'll have in her a loyal friend who will give anythign for those she loves
Appearence: Minako just change the hair color to sliver and add cat ears and tail

Other: she uses a katana and 2 hidden daggers. even tought she seems very calm and its really dificult to make her angry, she is the kind of girl you dont want to mess with, or you wont live to tell the tale.

Plot/Setting

Well.... As far as plot and setting go, there isn't really much. The setting, as you know, is the fuedal era. What I wanted to put here was when in the fuedal era this takes place. It takes place after the last InuYasha episode on TV, with InuYasha still searching for Naraku. But there's a twist- The Shikon Jewel has once again broken into many shards. As you could expect, Naraku owns quite a few of them already. Anyways, the rest of the plot is just.... there for us to build. I don't set specific plots. I just set a base. You guys can take this wherever you want- as long as it's within the rules! biggrin biggrin :3

The wind howled around Rinkota as she soared higher and higher from the ground, her solemn black wings beating effortlessly to take her into the clouds. Intelligent golden-brown eyes scanned the land below, watching as the stretch of brown and green forest pass by beneath her. No signs of happieness reflected in her pale face, no signs of friendlyness or welcome glinting in her rigid flight-stance. Rinkota seemed right at home in the sky, with no-one around to bother her.



((Waha. Very short for a first post, but I've got a bit of brainblock.. I'll make up for it later on. x.x))

Akira the head of the west wind kitsune clan and guardian of the region. had taken to the skies to glide on the winds on her giant fan, she had needed some time to think to herself for her father gave her his position. She couldn't be a fun loving teenager like but was although she had prepared herslf for the role that just happend to be placed upon her. As she glided on the winds currents, she admirred the different color there were depending on how strong the current was. There were teals ,gold and all sorts of colors you couldn't name. Her green moonlite eyes admired the the unending landscape.

Minako was the head of the neko clan and guardian of her tribe. Even tought she was yougn she was an excelent fighter and even the older demons of the clan respected her. She was in the middle of the woods, training alone, she liked to come here to get some peace and tranquility from her daily responsabilities.

"mina!!!! mina!!!" a little girl ran towards her. " mina-sama!!!" the little girl stood infront of her smiling and giggling " mina-sama, it's time to return! every body else is wating for you!!"

mina puts away her katana and stares at the little girl" is that so...well..in that case we should go back.." she smiles at the girl and starts walking " come kisa! lets go.."

"hai!" the little girl smiles and starts running to catch up with mina.

Minako and the little girl, kisa, walked for about 10 minutes before got to the little neko village. Mina was carring a net with lots of fish enough to feed the whole tribe. she went to the women who were in cahrge of preparing the food.

"here..i hope this and the meet from the morning is enough for everybody." with out saying anythin else se turns around, goes to the nearest tree, climbs it and lays down in the highes branch closing her eyes and hearing the noises of the little village smiling when she hears the laughs of children

"you are not as mean as you try to appear are you?" the spirit of a big black cat appears besides her.

she does not answers, she just stares at the spirit and smiles " thought i have finally got rid of you..."

"get rid of me? as if you could do that!" the spirit purrs and stay besides her. tsukiakari, black cat spirit, was the one who has taken care of minako since her birth, her name means Moonlight, and t was able to help mina contol the shadows of night and even the moon's light.

" yea...well..i'll get rid of you some day you'll see..now go and take cae of the children" even thougth she tried to seem cold to the spirit she really care about it and apreciated her. she closes her eyes trying to get some sleep.

"you'll never change.." the blak cat jumps down of the tree and goes to take care of the little kids.

suddenly she opens her eyes and jumps down opf the tree "tsukiakari come!!" she runs out of the village but before leaving she says to one of the older demons " dont let anyone go out understood?" the other demon just noods.minako and her cat spirit run out of the village, mina took out her katana.

"whats wrogn?" Tsuki had just follow mina but didnt knew what was going on

"a demon...and a strong one.." once she arrived to an area where there were some knocked trees and obvious signs o destruction she tried to catch the scent of the demon.

"you caught the scent of the demon from the village up to here?" she stared at mina she is getting better.

"shut up....it's here.." she smiles sensing the demon behind her " hello there..." she truns arround facing the demon with a deadly gaze...and the fiht starts

after what seemed like an hour, minako was sitting down besides the corpse of the demon to catch up her breath. Minako was covered with blood and had a lot of injuries all over her body " that was fun..." she stands up and with her katana cuts away the head of the demon and grabs a shikon no tama shard. " so...this is why that miserable demon was so strong?" she puts it inside her kimono.

"you know that was god-dammed dangereous don't you?" the cat spirit was worried sick about her, that's because mina did not let the spirit help her in the battle.

" o shut up.." she puts her katana back into her sheath and walks trying to find the lake

Renka's ears went up and she turned around, she shook her head as she stood up, smiling.
"Sorry,"Renka said,"my name is Renka, and I didn't mean to take you down with me, I was pulling a prank on two spirits that follow me. I bet their sore, its the sixtenth time I got away"She said laughing.
