orochimaru's plans have succeeded, even beyond his own expectations, he started after the control of konoha, after getting sasuke's body as his own, then killed all those who he found as useless hosts for future bodies, and those who fought against him during the war, including naruto and the fifth hokage...
over 150 years later...
the most powerful shinobi villages lie under orochimaru's control, the villages are now prisons, in which depraved experiments and controlled breeding of the clans are done. only the best traits of each clan are aloud to go on to the next generation, (i.e. byakugen, sharingon, etc.) the children who do not meet expectations are either slaughtered or experimented upon. By constantly switching to a new body every few years, orochimaru has been able to preserve his immortality, and he has granted this to kabuto, his faithful servent, as well.
a small underground resistence has began to form...though only its members know of its existence

Rono sat on the floor of his cold room, his eyes glaring at the guards, they were sound jonin, they were to guard him, why? because he was to be orochimaru's next host, 'i have a few years...' he thought solemnly, 'then i'm gone...' he sighed, 'should i be crying? well, it wouldn't help anyways, i shed the last of my tears long ago'

"time exercise, punk" a guard said, pushing rono out, he was walked towards the forest of death, this was a trial of survival of the fittest, 'time for our next meeting' rono thought, going head first into the hell hole that served as this underground's meeting area

Nishiki hit the ground and was ganged up on by the four boys that had hurt his friend. Nishiki jumped up and conected his fist with the biggest boys cheek. A crack was heard as the boy's cheek broke. Nishiki hit him again this time his stomach was targeted. The boy fell and the remaining three attacked and Nishiki was kicked into a tree. He forced himself up. The skinny child lanched himself at another one of his attackers. Clawing at the other boy's face Nishiki took blows from the other two until he fell. They slamed the ten year old into the ground. Standing up again he found a rock which he threw at his most dangerous attacker. The boy wasn't as big as the one that had a broken cheek, but he had so big a body he couldn't move out of the stone's way. It hit him so hard in the head he was knocked out. Two to go. These two were as skinny as Nishiki himself. They attacked at the same time, charging him. He jumped at the last second and the two slammed head-on into one another. They were knocked out. He search them and took the little foodf and money they had. "Are you okay, Kyo?" He asked his friend. The five year old nodded. Nishiki gave Kyo half of the food that he had stolen from the four. "Want to come to my shack?" The ten year old asked. Another nod. "Let's go." They headed back to the little shack Nishiki had claimed after beating a four-teen year old in a fight. They treated their wounds, ate, and took a little nap.

rono headed back, knowing his time in the forest was getting to a close, if he didn't get back, they would hunt him down, so he went back to the village, using his byakugan to make sure no one was following him. as he arrived back he saw a crowd of boys fighting, 'another beating it seems' he thought, he saw as a skinny Hyuga child knocked out each one, 'huh, he could help us out here, sure he's young, but there's no denying he has skill' rono queitly followed him and a five year old that he had rescued, he didn't enter the cabin they went in, he just waited outside

Nishiki woke up and streached. He went outside to piss because the shack didn't have a bathroom. He went behind the shack and pissed. As he came around he noticed a guy hanging around. "What do you want?" He asked. His voice ice cold along with his glare.

"i saw your fight" rono said, calm and serious, "i'm impressed, you didn't even use the byakugan" he casually looked around and nodded towards the forest of death, "you against the life you have to lead here? you want freedom? well, meet me there in an hour, everything shall be explained then" as he said those words withoiut moving his lips and almost soundlessly, he pointed to himself and said, "rono" then walked away

Nishiki walked into the shack and found Kyo awake. "Nishiki?"
"Yes, Kyo."
"Can I live with you? We could be bothers."
"Sure." Nishiki grinned and whispered his next words. "We can take Orochimaru down together."
"But that's impossible."
"For us nothing is impossible. You and I are both strong. Just wait you shall get your Sharigan soon. You are after all a derect disendent of Ichiha Itachi. After that day we will be the heeros of this world. But in an hour we will meet a man named Rono in the forest of death." An hour past and Kyo and Nishiki waited for Rono in the forest

rono jumped down from the trees and looked at the two, "before we begin" he said, his eyes turned to that of byakugan, he surveyed the area quickly, then he turned back to them, "names" he said

"Kyo." Replied Kyo. The two looked at each other and then back at Rono. Nishiki put a hand on Kyo shoulder. Kyo visible relaxed. They shared another glance and then stared at Rono.

"alright boys, welcome to the resistence, no i'm not the only other member, hell i didn't even form it, the other members are in other villages, the lesser known ones or on missions" rono explained, he still had the byakugan on, and did a 360 sweep every now and then, "there are a few rules, the most important of which is to not get caught" he changed his eyes to sharingon, "as for right now, you look like you need training, Nishiki espicially in Ju-ken"

Nishiki looked down. "My Byakugan is screwed up it won't fully divelup until I'm Four-teen." Nishiki motioned to Kyo. "He is the same way with his Sharigan."
