He wasn't to sure what happened to Shani. She had been playing with the dragonflys that lived close to their cottege by the pond suddenly froze and ended up falling smack down into the pond and Ailence had not only fish out her but Niki' who decided to run in their after her when he couldn't swim. Ailence sigh looking at other male as he sat trying to rouse their charge. Shani was rather stunned stilled making confused little sounds and barely moving her wings.
Niki sat hovering over Shani, rubbing her shell gently with his fingers trying to get the the little switch to respond after her dunking into the pond.

.....A sudden burst of noise off to the far left prompted a change in course for Chimera and Bizaan. They had intended to head off to see if Erustis was still alive (as they hadn’t heard from her in a while) but this seemed more urgent. Chimera’s long ears twisted as she tried to locate the direct location of the commotion. “Hmm.. I think there is a pond up that way if I remember correctly...” She said to no one in particular. “Bizaan?” She asked turning to find her switch swooping about a woodpecker.
.....*How come he’s eating wood? I’ve never seen a bird do that before!* Chirped Bizaan swooping about the bird and the tree and causing the woodpecker to become noticeably irritated.
.....“Bizaan, he’s not eating the wood, he’s eating the bugs living in the tree. Now leave him be, I think someone might be in need of help.” Chimera said cooly as her tail lashed slowly behind her. Bizaan shot up into the air and then dove to Chimera’s side. “Try to keep up hun, I would like to make good time finding out what all the commotion was.” With that she began moving with an eerie grace over the uneven ground of the forest floor. A grace that soon allowed her to gain speed, causing Bizaan to fly hard to keep up. “Are you doing alright Bizaan?” Chimera asked as she ducked under a branch and then lept over a log as though it was nothing at all.
.....*Pyee* Chirped Bizaan in compliance as she managed to maneuver her way through the obsticals as well.
.....After several minutes of blazing through the woods Chimera came to a complete halt crunched over like an animal behind some bushes. And then stood up slowly and smiled. “I knew those voices sounded familiar but your scents were all wrong,” she said chuckling as she stepped into plain site of Shani’s family. But her smile was quickly wiped from her face when she saw Shani being roused by Niki. “Ailence..is Shani alright?” She asked realizing that the reason they all smelt different was the fact that they were all wet therefor someone must have fallen into that pond, and the most likely suspect was Shani.
.....Bizaan finally arrived and shot past her mother unable to stop at her speed. Then upon noticing Shani’s family became distracted and glided past everyone, over the pond and into a pine tree. Thankfully Bizaan was used to these “sudden stopping methods” and quickly recovered making her way over to see what was going on.

Niki's ears flickered and he lifted his head long before Ailence heard the crunching sound that caused him to lift his head. He rubbed the little thing gently cooing to her.
"She took a tumble in the pond; she was playing with the dragonflies froze and took a tumble in the water. Niki went after her covently forgetting to tell me he couldn't swim so we had a bit of a trying day." Ailence looked at the little switch. "Niki' said she glowed before she took the tumble."
Niki' just nodded still trying to get over the feel of water closing over his head and being unable to breath. Shani was moving drowsy in his hands, wings fluttering the delicate membranes laden by water. He rubbed only her shell not trusting himself not to rip one of the frail wings.

.....C himera nodded and approached the scene pulling some soft cloth out of her pocket. "It's synthetic but very soft and warm, hopefully sh'es just a little stunned." She said as she approached Niki and offered up the cloth. Pausing as she now stood closer to the soaked switch. "She glowed?"
.....Not at all really understanding the situation Bizaan swooped over to Shani and then circled the pond. *I didn't know Shani could swim*

Ailence nodded eyeing the red head his curls just starting to dry and such frizz into a mess. "Glowed. The dragon flies took off all a flutter too..it was intresting to say the least."
Niki' took the cloth, wrapping Shani' up in it and smiled slightly as she moved, wings buzzing in irriation. "She's alright.."
*I don't swimmmmmmm* She was not a happy about her adventure. *Wattter baddd*

.....Bizaan darted about Shani. *I can't swim either.* She chimmed happy that she wasn't the only one. Then she landed softly by Niki and Shani, waiting for her friend to be ready to play.
.....Chimera scratched the back of her head. "Hmm.. the last time I heard of glowing was with Fenris.. Erustis' switch of Darkness. When it happened to him it was his little body preparing to evolve to the next stage. I can't imagine what kinda of animagus your little Shani might become." She said smiling down at the fragile looking switch. "It would be very exciting to see another switch reach the second stage."

Shani' wings and shell now dry fluttered a bit of the ground before zipping back up to circle Bizaan. * You can't?* She was feeling a bit better now. *Niki' can't either. Ailence had to fish him out. *
Ailence watched their charge for a moment before snorting. "I don't think she ready for that yet..though since you mentioned it perhaps she is prepairing." He looked back at Niki' amused. "Dragonflies," he mused.
"Your's didn't glow?" Niki' question looking up at Bizaan before shooting Ailence an uncomfortable look. What was the Incubus thinking...he scooted slightly away.

.....Bizaan shot into the air and joined in circling what was now an empty spot of land. Then she made a noise that sounded like giggling. *That's ok if Niki can't swim, ants can't swim either.* She said before calling "Pye, pye, pye".
.....Standing tall and trying to think back Chimera squinted her eyes and frowed her brow slightly as her tail lashed behind her. "No, I can't recall her glowing." She said still thinking before relaxing her face. "Although there are so many others in my house I'm not always present. Normally she likes to hang out with her 'siblings'." I suppose it's possible something happened and I was just not informed. With that she smiled and chuckled lightly, "that is how it works with parents and children."

Shani' giggled and followed Bizaan in the air staying away from the pond. *Want to see the flowers? Bees are their and they go all buzzzz* She whirled her wings making a happy buzzz, buzz sound.
"Hmm it could just be her as well. It could just be her way of what is that..drawning DNA for her evolution." Ailence smiled slightly. "Guess she's going to stay away from the pool for a bit. Niki' why don't you go inside and rinse off? I'm not sure what is in that pond water."
Niki' sigh and tugged at one of his curls and had a thin layer of grit and sand fall. "Great. Muddy." He stood and walked back into the house. "Keep an eye on her alright."
"We will. I'm sure she'll be fine. She likes to be flashy.."Ailence muttered eyeing the switch.

.....Chimera looked up at the switches. "Hm.. she's seen a lot of animals. So either Bizaan has copied no DNA, or she just doesn't glow." Chimera then grinned at Bizaan's, now trademark, 'pyee'ing. "Or maybe each switch is simply unique." She said smiling. "So do you suppose your little Shani will be part dragonfly?" Chimed Chimera turning to Ailence, who seemed to figure things out at a rather suprising rate.
.....Enthused Bizaan cried out with excitment. *Yes! I love flowers!* And with that all her attention, no matter how short it may be, was directed at Shani.

"Probably...Kath mentioned before our DNA also is in a switch and Niki' well he certainly seems dragonflish." Ailence said amused and smiled. "They probably are. Perhaps her pyee, pyee is part of her own evalotion?" He smiled as the two dipped their way to the gardens. "I use to raise children before I ended up here."
Shani' swooped over to the gardens settling on one of the pale white bloosoms. *We have many flowers here. They are prettty!*

.....Chimera smirked. "Her 'pyee's are cute, but I'm pretty sure she just likes the sound." She chuckled watching the switches before returning her attention to the Ailence again. "It's very evident that you worked with children, your very patient and calm. I'm sure you were very good with them." She said smiling warmly. "Besides my brother I hadn't really raised anything, and then all of a sudden my home was filled with a wide assortment of characters." She said grinning. "It's been a very enjoyable experience."
.....Bizaan swooped and landed amongst the flowers. *So many!!* She exclaimed, her voice beaming with joy before she started to hop amongst them. Using her wings only enough to leave the ground and move forward a small bit.

"Most of the time..sometimes I just want to strangle him/them." He grumbled looking at the house the red head had retreated into. "I missed them really but nothing I can do here now is there," he paused and eyed his feet in displeasure. "I forgot shoes.." his noise wrinkled as he wiggled his dirt incrusted black feet.
Shani' giggled. *Niki' likes them, he'll sleep among them when it's nice out. Ailence keeps them pretty! * She hopped after Bizaan.

.....Chimera looked down at his feet. "It would appear that you did." She said trying not to laugh, her tail lashing out of amusement behind her. Then she looked at her own feet. Clawed and animal like, she had no need for shoes and couldn't relate to his problem.
.....*Sleeping outside?* Chirped the tiny switch. *Is that like camping?* She asked as that was the only time to sleep outside that she was aware of. Very amused by the beautiful flowers she continued to "hop" about in them. Since it was the best way to see them up close.

"Yes..pullying the silly red head out of the water," he shook his head and walked to the outdoor pump to rince the mud off. "I'm going to have to teach him to swim. Perhaps I can teach Shani' to swim..." He paused in thought.
*He calls it getting out* She replied resting on one of the petals, wings buzzing while she attempted to balance on it. *Then I sleep outside cause I nest on his head. It makes a good bed.*
