Eiri enters to room and first sees the two small beds pressed against opposite walls. She'd have to get a bigger one, as much as she rolls around in her sleep. Gently, she sets her guitar case by the provided dresser and slides her suitcase next to it. She retrieves the rest of her boxes and luggage from the hallway and pushes them against a wall. She sits on her bed and looks around blankly. Her brother is going to be bringing her young dog soon, but until then, she is left to herself. She doesn't mind being alone, though. She prefers it, most of the time.
Tired, she leans back against the pillows and waits for a knock on the door that will either signify her brother or her new roommate.

Hearing the door latch shut, Eiri rolls over and, eyes still shut, mumbles, "Shunsuké?" Opening her eyes, she sees that there is another girl in the room and sits up quickly, rubbing the sleep from her eyes.

"Are you the new roommate?" She asks shortly.

Eiri begins to take on her cold attitude when she catches sight of her new roommate's guitar case on the floor. She figures she can't afford to offend someone she may actually have something in common with.

"I was just resting my eyes," she says slowly, scooting to sit on the edge of her bed, "I'm Eiri. Eiri Maizuru." She eyes the guitar case again, "You play?"

Eiri tilted her head to the side, "Mm, since I was very young. My whole life basically revolves around music." She slid the case over and opened it, revealing the worn red wood of her guitar. She plucked a string reverently, "I never did get into the whole electric scene, though. I'm more of a traditional acoustic person. How about you?"

Eiri nodded, "I was born in a spot just north of Tokyo and raised around very heavy rock. Still, I always liked the sound of acoustic better." There was a knock at the door and Eiri jumped up to open it. She exchanged a few words with the person on the other side and closed to door again, bringing with her a small, black Shiba puppy. She went back to her bed and lifted the pup into her lap, "Miss Pandora, this is Kaen." Looking up, she asked with a worried expression, "You're not allergic, are you?"

Eiri shook her head, letting Kaen explore her bedspread. "My little brother and sister have three kittens between them. All of my dogs have learned to adjust." She looked up at the kitten in her roommates arms and gave the smallest of grins, "She's a cutie. I don't normally like cats, but she's adorable. Then again, she's sleeping. Kalypso, was it?"

Eiri waved a passive hand, "No, its fine." She scratched Kaen on his back and he padded around on her comforter. "I was kicked out of four different schools, so my brother thought it would be good for me to come here. I have a problem with fighting and breaking school rules." She rolled her eyes, "You know Japanese schools; so structured." She started to pull her hair back into a braid and asked, "What about you?"

Eiri chuckled lightly, "I get that. So what do you have there?" she asked, gesturing toward the picture that had just appeared in her dormmate's hand.
