I had an idea earlier today about how to increase our member count. A sort of referral program. Here's how it would work: You would refer a member. That member would join, saying which person referred them in both their join request (we would add a "Who referred you?" section to the join request form) and in the Introduction thread. If that person stayed active in the guild for at least a week, then the person that referred the new member would recieve an X in the Referral Program thread. For so many X's, you could redeem them for a prize. Like, for 5 X's, you can get a random store item worth somewhere around 500g. The prices would increasingly get better. Mules would not count for points, and if we discover that you referred your mule, you would lose 5 X's from your total. Misconduct in the guild could lead to X-count-deductions. Here's how an example list would look:
Hughes-san: XXX
Marshmallow Kitty: XX
Danni-chan: XXXXXX
Trizo: XXXX
Michiko Midorikawa: XXXXXX
If we decide to do this, we would only have to agree upon the prize list and how many X's you would need for that prize.

So... at the very least, for each step up the prize ladder, how many X's should the members (or us, just because we're mods doesn't mean we can't get prezzies!) have to get for that divison? Like, first step is 5 X's, second is 12, third is 25, etc.

I think it should be every 5, and we could also have a grand prize at the end of every month for the most referrals per month.

And if a moderator won a prize, then another moderator would buy the prize. Like, if I won it, one of you guys would buy it. If Danni won it, another mod (including me, of course) would buy the prize.
But that sounds good to me.

Right! xDD I like that. So... we just need to work out prizes. Whenever someone gets the grand prize or claims a step prize, a mod should post saying that they'll get the prize for them. And we need to try and keep it equal - like, if Hughes gets someone their present first, she shouldn't have to buy one again until all the other mods have taken a turn. Get it?

How about everyone pitches in? All the mods could donate some money to the mule, and the mule buys the prizes...

For 5 X's... how about a store item worth around 750g? It can be a little lower or higher, just somewhere in that price range.
