Rei made sure the room was hers before entering. She opened the door and looked around. No one has here yet. She merely shrugged her shoulders and began to unpack her belongings. On the very top was something wrapped up in a blood red cloth. She slowly took off the cloth, revealing a jewled katana in its sheath. She laid it on her bed, then continued to take things out. 'Hopefully my room mate doesn't care about my katana. If they do, oh well.'
Once she finished, she put the katana on her desk and sat down on the bed. She pulled out her iPod and began to listen to her favorite J-Pop songs while waiting for her roomie.

Ferris waved goodbye to a beat up station wagon as it peeled out of the parking lot. She tossed her duffel bag over her shoulder and hopped up the steps into the building to find her dorm. She thought dorms were pretty kick a** and looked forward to having a roommate her own age.
Finding the right room, she tossed her stuff onto the empty side of the room and grinned. She was wearing a pair of old red plaid pants that clung tightly to her figure. on her feet were a pair of even older looking black and white creepers. Her t-shirt advertised what appeared to be a bunch of drag queens and her leather jacket was covered in patchs and studs. Suprisingly though, she didn't have any piercings.
"Hey! What's up?! I'm Ferris," she said, holding her hand out briskly, but then getting distracted by the sword. "Holy s*** is that for real? Kick a**!"

Rei looked up at hearing her room mate enter the room. She turned off her music before Ferris even started talking. She took her room mate's appearance before saying anything.
"Hello, Ferris." She said. She grinned a little when Ferris noticed her katana. "Yeah, it's real all right. I won't use it unless someone gets on my nerves, but I doubt I'll need it. By the way, my name is Rei." She stood up.

"Oo sassy," She said with a little clawing motion, meant in fun not in jest. "That's really sweet remind me not to tick you off!....Oh and, pleasure to meet you Rei!"
Ferris re-extended her hand for another go at a handshake.

Rei's grin widened slightly. "I didn't mean it that way, but whatever. And it's a pleasure to meet you too." She shook hands with Ferris.

Ferris laughed a bit and turned back to her stuff once the introductions were over. She started pulling her things out of her bag and tossing them onto the bed. Most of it was clothes, all of the clothes having some degree of wear, tear and modification to them. Once she was finished, she turned to her new roomie.
"Well, I guess I'll try to keep the mess on my side, If I don't feel free to scold me. It's been awhile since I've lived with anyone," she said pleasantly.

"It's all right." She laughed. "I'm not much of a neat freak, so I don't really care." Her laughter died away. "So...What did you mean by your last statement..." She winced after she asked. "Sorry...That was a little rude of me."

"Ah it's no biggie. I'm what they call a street punk. I was living in this really rad abandoned hotel before I came here. I mean sure it wasn't like four stars and running water or anything, but it was huge you know? And no one cared if you had a party or had the music up real loud, so it was pretty sweet," Ferris liked to talk, that much was probably becoming obvious. "How about you? Where'd you live before?"

"Sounds like you had a bit of fun there. As for me..." She shrugged a little. "Not much to say other than I came from Washingtion. Not too many people there, but I definitely enjoyed myself.

"Sweet sweet...Yeah I had tons of fun at that place...maybe a bit too much but ah well. LIfe happens, just gotta go with the flow. So what brings you here if i'm not being to forward."
Ferris sat down cross-legged on her bed and rocked back and forth idly.

She laughed. "I agree with you." She sat down as well. "I'm here because I needed to get away from that place. I liked it, but I got into a lot of fights. There was this one girl there, Nisha, that got expelled because of me. We went at it quite a bit. I just wanted to get a way for a while, you know? Make new friends, maybe even try to stop myself from starting fights, let alone being in them."

"AHAHAHA," Ferris laughed loudly, rolling backwards probably to the confusion of Rei. "Sorry!...I may not be the best roommate then, I got sent here for punching a copper during this really huge riot, apparently I've got 'violent tendencies'."
She held up a scout's honor sign, "But I solemnly swear to try not to get you into any trouble."

She stared at Ferris in confusion for a few moments. Then she broke out into a huge grin. "Keep me out of trouble? Trouble finds me. Naturally. Maybe we should worry about you. You went and punched a cop!"

"Well hey, in my defense he grabbed me first, I was just all peaceful and jumping on a car, not doing anyone any harm!" She reflected on that night and couldn't help but grin. It had been a hella crazy night.
"Besides, it served those cops right for trying to shut down the club with about a hundred punks hanging about."
"I can tell we're going to be quite the dynamic duo huh?"

"Those cops are always idiots." She rolled her eyes. "They should've had me expelled from that school instead of Nisha, but I can honestly care less."
"Hmm. That's is really stupid. Even if they do cause a bit of trouble-which I'm not saying they did-I doubt it would've been anything serious. So I see your point on why you did that.
She grinned. "Yep. Or maybe more like the Troublemakers. Whatever works better."
