Whenever I see Sparhawk in my head, he always looks like this:

and Sephrenia:

(sorry ^this^ image isn't that great, but the internet is notorious for not having everything you need right when you need it)

these characters are from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones.
I was playing this game a lot when I started reading the books.

Does anyone else associate book characters with characters they've seen elsewhere?

Sorry for (I think) stretching the page.

I've done that, heck, I've done that with real people who could look like the characters. Like my dad, one of my friends who has read the books came over once when he had a beard, and she called him Old Wolf (my parents claim that when I was sick and deleirous while he had his beard that I had called him Mister Wolf).

The she refers to my friend, when my dad had a beard my friend called him old wolf.

where'd it go?

[I haven't seen anyone who looks like the characters -sighs-. My sister is a major drama queen though, so she reminds me a bit of Ce'Nedra...except Ce'Nedra isn't pure evil...Nicole is.....>_< Life is bad right now, High school should not be filled with so much freaking drama. drama= BAD!!!]

I just want my life back.

A tip from someone who's done with the whole bloody thing: Drama is completely avoidable. If you can really just not take sides and completely ignore it all, you'll be way better off. This is more doable than you think. Just take a high-minded, mature and motherly "I love you all" tone, and continue to be civil to both parties. And if it's coming from people outside your group, just remember that a woman's tongue is her sword, and she should not let it rust (which is to say, snap back brutally), and remember that if you hate them, their opinion should be the last thing you devote any energy but derisive laughter to.

As to the actual topic: Not in real life, but I make cross-fictional associations. Like Inspector Lestrade in the Sherlock Holmes stories. He's written as a stupid throwaway character, but since he looks like Silk, I've gone through and picked out all these little details to flesh him out in my head. He's one of my favorite characters, even though I pretty much had to make him up myself. XD
