List your favorite books here and why you like them.
No more than 3 books per POST, you can put more in later.

Here goes:

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban-
I'm a fan of the series and thought this was the best story.

Vampirates-
I love vampires and I love pirates. Easy equation.

Vampire Hunter D, Volume 4: Tale of the Dead Town
Possibly the best vampire book I'v read.

I do encourage comments on other's posts (preferably not degrading).

Anything L.E Modesitt Jr. but as far as my fave goes it would be the first three Corean chronicles books in this order:

1.Darknesses (2nd book)
2. Legacies (first)
3.Scepters (third)

I also am somewhat partial to his saga of recluse.

1.Twilight and 2. New Moon by Stephenie Meyers. These are my two top books because I absolutely love vampires.

and for my third favorite book...Old Magic. I don't remember who it's by thought. I like this book because it's a fantasy and it has people going back in time to stop something from happening. So it's really cool!

Hey everyone!

hmm:

1) Maximum Ride (TAE & SOF) by James Patterson. Great books, and plus, I think I have a wing fetish xd

2) Kiesha'ra series by Amelia At-water Rhodes; again, great books. A world of warring shapeshfiteres, what could be better?

3) ... hm. A lot of things could go here. Any of Amelia's vampire novels, When the Wind Blows orThe Lake House by James Patterson. All are great. I love anything with wings, and vampires are always awesome.

Hehe. He's a great writer. And you'll like SOF, tis great. Can't wait for the third one...but May just doesn't seem to want to come fast enough, you know?

Hmm Blood and Chocolate? Vampire novel, right? Cool, maybe I'll check it out after I get my hands on Twilight and New Moon...
PostPosted: Fri Jan 05, 2007 3:19 pm

Blood and Chocolate isn't a vampire novel. It's a werewolf novel. But, the same person that wrote it also wrote a vampire novel called 'The Silver Kiss' haven't read it, but I plan to read it soon. I agree with you though. It seems to take forever for a book to come out. The third book to the Twilight series, Eclipse, isn't coming out until like August/September-ish and it's getting really annoying to wait for it, because I want to read it right now crying

I know! Me, too.

I hope someone hasn't already said this, but the Cirque Du Freak series is great.

Oh, werewolves? That's interesting, I'll have to read it. :3

And yeah definatley takes forever when you're waiting for something to come out. I need to read Twilight, I'll have to buy it, seeing as I can't seem to find it anywhere >.>;

I know! The sequel, New Moon, was completely sold out wherever I looked. I had to order it on Amazon.

For One More Day:
A real tear-jerker

This Boy’s Life:
An incredible memoir of the author’s life in the fifties. I love the stuff he did as a kid haha X]

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest:
Have you read this book? Speaks for itself

Okay, I have

1. To Say Nothing of the Dog- Connie Willis. A book like nothing I've ever read before. Incredibly funny, with a hint of romance, mystery, and plenty of time-traveling.

2. Maximum Ride series- James Patterson. I cannot resist genetically enhanced teens, especially those with wings.

3. Fullmetal Alchemist. This is simply my fav manga series of all time.
