When Brom dies in Book I, he gives Eragon seven words that he is to only use in his time of need.
I wonder what they are. Maybe he uses them to rescue Katrina - or are they some sort of amazing magic?? Or is it to summon spirits like a shade?
Hmmm.... All will be answered in Book III, or maybe CP has forgoten about it!

I doubt seriously that Paolini would've forgotten a detail as important as that. Good writers tend to take note of important details that they write in their books so as to have reference to it for later use. And Paolini is an extremely talented writer for how young he is.

Well, hopefully they'll be integral to the plot, but I'm not too sure about that yet.
It'd be a shame if Paolini did miss them out, though- we'd all be mightily disappointed. I'd say we were in Eragon's time of need, too!

I'd have to ask him about that if he did forget. By the way, does anyone know why the heck people write on paper made out of 50% cotton? 'Cause that's what Chris wrote me on. It's on my wall, and the back says "50o;tton paper" Wtf?

I think that those may be the words that Galbatorix tells Murtaugh, since he knows some "Terrible Powerful Secrets" I find those to be most likely what Brom told eragon

I was curious... I think ((theory mainly influenced by shurtugal.com)) The seven words are an extremely powerful spell that would probably expend all his eragon so could only be used in a time of great need. Probably one for destruction or whatever
...since I'm not a cat that's not dangerous
