So who else saw this one? I have to say, I have mixed feelings about this one.
On the one hand, it was funny as hell. The mexican penguins just killed me. rofl The music didn't suck eggs and the acting was fairly good.

Speaking of acting, one of the two weak points for me, was Elijah Wood. I just could NOT get past seeing him as frelling Frodo!! Agh. Maybe it's just me, but he didn't lend himself well to voice acting. heh.

The other weak point....the ecological message they saw fit to ram down my throat at every opportunity! gawd. Gag me. While I agree at heart, they needed to not bang that drum every five seconds. The end was both funny and disturbing...seeing as they painted humans as shallow, callow beings only interested in saving the species that amuse us.

I'm not saying they're wrong! They're right! rofl But they could maybe have injected a little hope for us in there somewhere instead of a two hour long humanity bash.

I did like the movie though! rolleyes Wouldn't mind seeing it again. How about you?

I enjoyed the movie, although I found that if your mood is down or depressing its not the best movie to watch.

I thought their portrayal of humans was fairly accurate in the movie to be honest.

I think there was a sign of hope though, after all, when you see all the activity that happens when he is in captivity and at the end, it shows a potential for hope. I thought it was cool how they mixed live action with animation.

Oh.. I gotta see that dance xd rofl

I loved the mexican pengiuns! xd so did my mom! blaugh .
its a cute story, but we havent bought it yet. and the only reason i would buy it is for the mexican pengiuns 3nodding they're very entertaining and kinda remind me of my moms side of the family rofl
