Well, this is the thread that's dedicated to the soon to be large (hopefully!) army that's gonna be dedicated to a pairing that's very obvious - considering the guild itself is dedicated to it! (I say dedicated too much)
NaruSaku, of course!
Now, here's the rules, so it's not a big ba-jumble of random stuff.
1.) PM me/post here that you want to join the army. :3 I'll add your name to the list.
2.) Take a banner/make your own and add it to your signature or profile! ADVERTISE THE LOVE!
3.) Tell your friends who aren't in the guild. =D
4.) Erm...I'll think of something later!
5)No bashing other pairings.
6)No bashing other pairing fandoms.
7)Keep it clean and respective.

What to do://
[1]You must participate as often as you can.
[2]Stay active and post your thoughts.
[3]If you see NaruSaku being bashed, DEFEND IT!

I think it's a great idea.Lately NaruSaku has been geting trashed.So it's probly the best thing to do is stand up for NaruSaku.NaruSaku has just as much chance of happening as NaruHina and SasuSaku.So it has my permission, and i'm going to join.XD

Ok, I'm against the whole 'army' thing in general since I think people take it way too seriously. However, I would like to join this one. Just because I think NaruSakuers get an incredibly bad rep in other guilds because of a FEW illiterate fans. People go and say "Oh, people who like NaruSaku are immature, the moments they have are only friendship!"
A) There are immature fans in EVERY SINGLE FANDOM. You can't judge one person who likes a pairing based on what someone else says. I don't do it for NaruHina or SasuSaku, so it annoys me when they do it to us. I've met many illiterate, immature SasuSakuers who've claimed it's the only pairing that's able to become canon. Yet, I've met just as many who debate nicely and refrain from bashing. So, when I go into certain guilds and see comments like the one above, I get really irritated. And mostly, I only see it for NaruSaku.
B) It's all in the way you interpret the series. Those 'friendship' moments can mean a lot more than that to some people, and *again* I don't think it's fair that people with different OTPs claim that it can't. Nothing's been proven or obviously hinted at, so I find it very annoying that people pass NaruSaku off. It has JUST as much of a liklihood of happening in the series as any other pairing, and maybe even a little more than some others.
So, yes, please add me to this list! (Though, I will be steering clear from the 'my otp pwns yours' banner. There's one for SasuSaku that's extraordinarly similar and it's always annoyed the you know what out of me whenever I've seen it. So, I think it'd just be adding to the whole concept of NaruSakuers getting a bad rep.)

I have met so many well-rounded fans of SasuSaku, and a LOT of them are my friends. :3 But there are just so many people who'll say: naruhina nd sasusaku r 4evr!~1 sakra luvs saskey and hinata luvs narto so they r ment to be! And then there's just people who can't freaking accept anything besides their OTP. O-o And yes, I actually dislike that banner...I wasn't in the best of moods when I made it. (OTP owns yours, blah blah blah) I hate that person's banner so much...it makes me shudder... I'll probably end up deleting it and making another one. O-o And as for armies...I personally don't think they're that bad. I don't start arguements with SasuSaku-ers, and I respect their opinions...And it just seems sad that NaruSaku doesn't have an army when it deserves one. D:

If they can't read the bold letters at the top of a page then they really need to reform their way of thinking. sweatdrop
As for armies... I mean, when they're there for fun, it's ok. And I do like the idea of people defending their pairings against bashing. I just think when there as many of them as there are starting to be, then people take it too seriously. It's a comic: It's not something crucial like, oh say, the Harry Potter fandom. ( whee Snarry!)
Besides, we all know Orochimaru will kill everyone off so he can go off and have Sasuke all to himself.

It's because NaruHina and SasuSaku are mainstream. They win on google searches, but in reality their fandom has no relevance as to what will actually happen in the show. (Though I do like NaruHina... Just not as much as KibaHina and SasuHina) As for the downpour... I honestly think it started with the SasuSaku guild, but that's not to insult them. I mean, I think that pairing was subject to bashing for a while, the fans got tired about it and went around going to every single thread in the AMC and posted. It was a great move for their pairing, and I'm sure the fans didn't mean anything bad by it, but it's really annoying for everyone else. Before I got involved in the Naruto guilds I'd post in threads, but every one seemed filled with pro-SasuSakuness. I started out being neutral towards the pairing, but after a while I got to be really irritated with how I couldn't go ANYWHERE without seeing the fans 'defending' their OTP. As I said, it's great for them to have a stance against bashing, but I think it's been taken too far. I went from being neutral, to disliking, to flat out hating the pairing, but not because of anything in the show. More for lack of neutral territory. So, while I can completely understand the hatred of bashing (It pisses me off to no end when I see posts that say 'rock leexsakura sucks!'... People have even felt the need to post in my profile telling me how much my pairing sucks neutral .) I won't go looking for it. Not because I don't think the bashing deserves defending- it does -but only on paper. In real life it annoys me to see people not bash, but simply saying they dislike a pairing, and to have fans come storming in with debates. Sometimes fandoms are better off leaving things alone. *Geh... Long post. I'll wrap this up.* Basically, if I see bashing, I'll defend, but I won't go looking for it and posting links here. I think that's excessive and taking the whole army idea too far.

Believe me...I'd support SasuSaku and NaruHina to no end if it was a shoujo manga. Because then it'd make a lot more sense. :/
