You know how CP massed copied LOTR? Well maybe Brom comes alive again like Gandalf (well Gandalf doesn't actually die...but...).
I know it seems absurd, bt there is a slight chance of it happening (VERY slight).
Maybe Saphira's transmuting spell did something to Brom - hence, - his untouched face lay within..???

Brom was killed off so that Eragon could learn to be independant. Bringing him back would ruin it.

I would be thoroughly disappointed in CP if he had Brom come back. In fact, I probably would put down the book, and if I did pick it back up it would probably be at least a year later so that my disappointment and anger would have enough time to subside.

Brom coming back: NOT HAPPENING! That would just be TOO weird. Plus it would really screw up the story. Even though I did not enjoy Brom dying (it made me sad in the soul) I think that Brom's death was necessary. If he came back from the dead it would be a sort of Jesus thing going on there, which would be weird (not trying to offend anyone, if I did, I sorry *gives a cookie*). So that's my shpeel on that.

It is not possible that Brom will coe back. It would ruin the whole story.

i agree with all of you. it would be a little strange... plus it would ruin the whole story. i too believe that he was killed off so Eragon could be independant. i just hope that Oromis doesnt get killed! or Arya for that matter, but i dont think so. it just seems that everyone dear to him is dead or in danger of being dead.... i think Eragon needs some therapy. smile

Technically, I guess It's POSSBILE. However, I don't think it's plausible.
Gandalf didn't have a blade go through him, did he?
Brom did. It was a clear wound , and he died right beside Eragon.
Gandalf didn't "die" beside his companions, did he?
So, I guess it's Possible, but not plausible.

true.. nice way of thinking. for some reason i really dont think he will come back. he is CLEARLY dead. plus, i dont think Paolini would do that. he might loose his loyalty with his fans~too much like LOTR.

th only way I think he coukld come back would be if some shade spirits onvaded his preserved body cause like Oromis sai a persons soul dies with his body, or something like that
