Hey, I like your avvie ^^
And I've heard of it, but I don't watch it. I'm more of a pirate person. One Piece is the only anime I watch right now. Perhaps I'll go buy the first few volumes of DN Angel though. (And in case your woundering, I only watch the Japanese OP, 4kids should burn to the ground for what they did to it here...)

YES!!! Thank you! 4Kids must die and burn in hell for crimes against anime! And yeah, I like One Piece too. Not as much as Naruto and Air Gear, though.

I used to be obsessed with anime, and I'd freak out whenever I miss an episode. sweatdrop Now however, I only bother watching Naruto, and since I've discovered Youtube, theres no need to worry about missing an episode. Gotta love it.
By the way...does anyone else think that Inuyasha is WAY too long? I mean, I gave up watching it around episode 120 or something like that, mostly because there was just too many filler episodes.

It is wa~ay too long, especially if you add in the 4, possibly 5(?) (I heard something about a 5) movies. But, Inuyasha was one of the things I watched religiously on YouTube, because I'm one of those people who freak out if I don't get to know what happens. But, other than that, I go for FMA, Fruits Basket, and MeruPuri, which is a very good manga, if painfully short

I seriousily think Inu-Yasha is too long and I don't even watch it sweatdrop All my friends have told me though that there are a lot of filler episodes. I watch an episode of that here and there, but I'm not much of a fan.
D.N Angel is one of the best animes I've seen. Mainly all of my friends are fans of it. Other than that, I watch Gensomaden Saiyuki, Fruits Basket, Legend of Himiko, Shakugan no Shana, Fullmetal Alchemist, Rave Master, and the ocassional One Peiece, Naruto, and Case Closed/Detective Conan. When I was little I used to watch Zoids, Sailor Moon, Card Captors, and Tenchi Muyo(I believe it is) I'm a total anime freak biggrin

I can tell you one thing: InuYasha is MUCH longer than Naruto. I think there are about three hundred episodes? And then there's the four movies--I heard five was being started ro something. I like the movies an' all, but seriously. It's just too long.
The only reason I've stayed with 215 episodes of Naruto is because I wanna see what happens with Sasuke. And I wanna see the Kakashi Gaiden. And everyone in their timeskip clothing.
But anyways. I'm hooked onto Magical x Miracle(manga). I read the first book and I just was like... "EEE! So kyute!" I happened to love Naruto very much, and InuYasha is in there somewhere. Tokyo Mew Mew, Fruits Basket, Dragonball Z and Trigun too! I also like some of the 'kiddie' animes such as Card Captor Sakura and. Sailor Moon. "Magical Girl" series really interest me. Like I wanted to read the one about the Mermaids. ><
But, my dad wouldn't buy it. ^^;; I also like Ouran KouKou Hostu-bu. Nice series. Short, yes, but it's really cute and humourus. .Hack//Legend of the Twilight(I think that's what it's called) is near the top of my list. It was short, yes, but I loved it so much. Loveless, Chobits, Chrono Crusade, Ranma 1/2, Tsubasa ResiVoir(sp?), Angelic Layer, Saishuu Heiki Kanojo(SaiKano), Princess Ai, A.I Love You, AzuManga Daioh, Girls Bravo, DNAngel, and a few others are also on my list!
I just like too many animes... ;;>////>

I've seen and read a lot of anime and manga...my absolute favorite would have to be Naruto, followed swiftly by Shoujo Kakumei Utena and Oh! My Goddess!
Naruto: because of the characters, and the constantly evolving plot line. it's also really addicting for just some reason I can't explain. Shoujo Kakumei Utena: because of the characters (seriously, every single one of them is messed up in the head) and the gender issues it touches upon. Oh! My Goddess: because it's just such a classic manga, I love the humor it entails, and the simply beautiful artwork. I've also seen: Magic Knight Rayearth: anime home to my favorite character of all time, Nova! Rurouni Kenshin : didn't care for it that much, couldn't empathize with the main characters Sailor Moon: first anime I watched, both dubbed and later subtitled...always has a place in my heart Neon Genesis Evangelion: I'm weird, I really liked the original ending to this one, and the main character, Shinji Chobits: the idea of there being no wrong love is an excellent theme that runs through this anime (and manga...read the manga too!) Inuyasha: I enjoyed it, but grew out of it near the end...it just didn't stick with me long enough where I would actively pursue the end of it. Fushigi Yuugi: I had a major beef with the main character, Miaka, but the supporting cast and the male lead, made the whole thing worthwhile.
