Different...Very. Vice Captain

Alright. I met this guy on New Year's. He's good looking, fun, funny, sweet, gentlemanly, a virgin at 21 (so he says, but I'd love it if he was, cuz I am too), understanding, and all that other wonderful stuff. I kinda started to like him then, but not enough to act on it. He likes my friend, through whom we met. She says she's not sure she could date him because she likes to hit people (play around, you know) and he hates getting hit. He'll probably hit back with all seriousness one day. She also said she's not physically attracted to him; couldn't see herself kissing him.
We met again this past weekend, and that's when I started to like him more, but still not so much to really do something about it or show it... I hope. But, she says that her friend that was with us thinks he likes me now. I asked her, and she thinks so too. Now, I really like him. Can't stop thinking about him. But my question to you all is:
Would it be wrong to act on my feelings towards a guy who originally liked your friend?
What are all the unwritten laws? Because I seem to forget and disregard them all, so I don't even know what they are anymore.

Well, your friend never liked him in the first place plus rumor has it that he likes you back. So it's not bad to like him. However, wait and observe his actions. You can give subtle hints that you like him, but don't try to rush into a relationship.
(I hope this helps since I just noticed your last post on this was the 28th... sweatdrop )

Yeah, I waited. She doesn't think he likes me anymore. Which is the way I'd prefer it. Sure, I still have feelings for him... but, I don't want that to ruin the only great friendship I have.

Ok, at least you have friendship. Losing friendship is far worse than losing love. And you'll move on and find someone new! ^^

I totally believe he's moved on now. For Valentine's Day, he got her a dozen roses and a green frog holding a picture of them! surprised

Here's another question: Is it wrong to date/marry your half-brother's half-brother? sweatdrop ninja Ya know, like... he's related to you through your mother, and he has a brother through his father... so there's no blood relation to you and your brother's brother... dramallama

Oh how I long for the deep sleep dreaming...
Wait for him to make a move. I mean, you said your friend never liked him back, and if he's over her and supposedly likes you, wait. Thats what I'd do anyways.
