For anyone who enjoyed the original such as I, there's a sequel coming sometime this summer.

Squad tactics have always been sort of iffy to me. Hopefully they can pull it off.

I played Blacksite Demo on my 360, looks like it will have pretty good physics.

Finished it recently...

The combat is sometimes interesting because you can die rather quickly from any of the many enemies. This was on hard though, and some really dumb moments made me lower the difficulty. One city block you're fighting a bunch of guys with very little cover. Once you beat them, a bunch of rocket troops show up on top of the roof and start spamming you... the blast radius always extends past every cover I tried. They were also hidden from view by banners hanging in the streets... very unfair.

It looks interesting and you'd think it was cool but somehow it's fairly boring. All the levels feel extremely lifeless and are large. You spend a lot of time running down empty rooms with nothing going on.

For whatever reason they decided to make every other door a stopping point where you need to make your AI squad open it for you. These triggers broke several times forcing me to restart from the last checkpoint...

One interesting note... dynamic in game billboards. Some levels are littered with large billboards showing you recent ads for movies and stuff. There's also some fixed ads for Dodge cars much like GRAW, but this time the AI actually talks about it. You hide behind a Dodge Charger or whatever and he says "Sweet a Dodge Charger, this thing is brand new"... when I blew it up for spite he said "Damn I wanted one of those"

Anyways it was a decent time waster for a while. Nothing great about it but it's passable. The characters/story might be vaguely worth it with lots of little cracks at politics and the army.

i only played demos, the orriginal is the best, with a better story and more dynamic gameplay. I didn not like the BS(black site) lol
