Alright, the movie version of The Secret Window is very, very, extremely different from the book(or I think it's called a novella) even the name is different, the book is called Secret Window, Secret Garden.
in some parts, the movie is like the book almost word for word; other parts are changed completely

at the end of the book, Morton Rainy dies, just gets shot in the chest and dies.
at the end of the movie, Rainy kills his ex, kills her boyfriend, and goes about his happy corn-eating existance.
and lots of other things changed or added.

personally, I am biased. I saw the movie first and loved it, then I read it. so I like to think of the book and movie like totally separate entities.
so what do you people think?

I prefer the books ending to the movie, you see, I don't like it when "one story should be's" become series or trilogys.
