Yeah, I'm kinda concerened about this one. I had really big hopes for it but.......Nicolas Cage?? Seriously? Um...yeah....and my hopes are dashed once again upon the jagged rocks of Hollywood miscasting. scream
...of course, I'll end up seeing it at some point. I have too. Dammit.

I say it's too early to make a final judgement. To think, X-Men and Spiderman gave people hope that good comic book movies could be made, but in the past few years they've resumed the downward spiral.

Good point, allthough Spiderman was more of a sucess than Xmen in my opinion. I'm still pissed about the casting choice for Rogue. scream

She didn't seem "country" enough, and I hate that she gave up her powers at the end of X3. I thought the whole point of X-Men was to teach people to be happy with themselves, even when the world didn't want them to be.

Not to mention that she wasn't old enough or sexy enough. gonk REALLY irritated me. and yeah, the end of X3....ARGH!!! What were they thinking. Oh I know...let's just ignore twenty years of established events in the xmen universe and do whatever the hell we want....the fate of most comic-to-movie adaptations in the end. bah.

I remember seeing it... it was decent. Definately had some good special effects, but as I said earlier, decent.

Oh I know...let's just ignore twenty years of established events in the xmen universe and do whatever the hell we want....the fate of most comic-to-movie adaptations in the end. bah. The biggest issue with X-men was that they didnt really have Rouge, what they had was a mix of Jubile and Rouge, as if they wanted to get them both in but just couldnt. Frankly I hardly concider the x-men movies all that good, i dont want those skinny pieces of crap, i want my over the top, unlread and uber muscle filled x-men! blaugh ON topic, I was not totally impressed with Ghost Rider, as I wasnt into the comic, I do remember many of the comics I did see, and I was a bit dissapointed. The new bike bother the heck out of me, I personally can't stand the bloody harely design they used (watch the bonus stuff on the dvd if you dont believe me). The only time I wasnt unhappy about how things turned out was when he transformed and you couldnt see Cage's face rofl All in all, I think the movie was ok but like x-men, still really flawed, although I was more upset about x-men because I grew up with them damnit! Oh and was it just me or was there too much time spent as a human in Ghost Rider and not nearly enough time as the rider himself?
