So what I'd say... is why poke fun towards Al Gore? He's trying to get the message of global warming out to others. Hello, I am a Meteorologist/Climatologist with a real college degree (minus a couple of weeks of class before I graduate). I do agree with you that Al Gore is trying to get the message of global warming out to others. I really commend him for that and I commend the people in this forum for caring about this issue. It gives me hope. However, global warming is very broad issue and Al Gore is simply looking at the results we, as humans, see. He doesn't look at why they are happening. The earth obviously has had fluctuating climate since it's beginning where it alternates from ice age to hot stuff. We are in a warming trend right now, but its worse than previous ones because humans are adding stuff to the atmosphere and messing with the natural ecosystem balance. If we don't stop we are in big trouble.
