I found Amy as a kitten.. or rather, she found me. I was still new to the FTC, but for some reason she squirmed her way into the door and latched onto me and hasn't let go since.
One of the most noteable incidents of her kittenhood was during her second Kochii hunt. She was taught the ropes by "uncle" Tybris, a skilled hunter breed. Her lessons seemed to have had her belive that she was a mighty hunter too, and during her first Kochii chase she chased it off the ends of a branch. She broke one of her back paws, but her injury recovered shortly before she became an adult.
...Some things will never change
A few short months later, Amy grew into a beautiful adult. She was very hyper and kittenish even after the fact. I knew right away that she was a natural companion. She still had the urge to be a hunter, but lacked the skill and power to be classifide as one. Even so, this doesn't seem to discourage her one bit from trying. She's met many more cats during her adulthood, and now even has an adopted sister named Alaska.
Amy is still very naive to the world, but is always curious about new things. She has an almost magnetic pull towards cats of special breeds. She can sometimes say things that are mean in nature, such as bluntly point out features that make them "different", but she's never ment to hurt anyones feelings with her words.
As much as she is intrested in diversity, she cannot stand dogs. Her reaction from them verys from curling up in the nearest bush and praying they leave, to attempting an attack on them. And don't think for one second her feelings are any different towards puppies than they are twoards their full grown counterparts.

One of my first friends ever. He was also a companion and we had lots of fun playing together! I met Qutlu the first time while I was a kitten, he helped me get cookies with him. The second time we met was after I grew up, he didn't even know it was me! We had a lot of fun times together, but I haven't seen him in forever. I miss him a ton, but I still consider him one of my best friends!Desu Desu

Well actually I met his little gray Kochii before I met him! I was digging threw the sand box and I we happend to meet up, he was very nice to me. I don't remember much about our time together.. I was only a kitten back then, you know. I've seen him around the center a lot with his family, but we haven't talked much since! He has a mate named Cleo who I haven't really met, Velouse his oldest adopted daughter, and their 4 new kittens. Desu Desu

YEEY UNCLE TYBRIS!!! Actually, I don't he's actually my real uncle, But he use to say that to me when we where learning how to hunt. We played hide and seek and he was soo good, I can't even begin to tell you. Like Qutlu.. I haven't seen him in a long time. He had a sister named Isis, who I never really got to know. He's a vet and just absolutely amazing at catching Kochii, but the one thing I don't get is that he eats them too! I don't get it, must be a Hunter thing. We've only met once, but she's sooooo fun to play with it! She's the daughter of Anubis, whom I've never met personally but saw from a great distance while I was learning how to hunt with uncle Tybris, but that was looong time ago like when I was still a kitten. She's kind of ADD, and a bit dorky.. she kind of reminds me of someone I know but I just can't put my paw on it~

I hate winter. It's always so cold, especially my poor wittle paw pads. I DEMAND WARMTH RIGHT NOW. crying Alaska however thinks she's such hot stuff... walkin' around in the snow acting like she's not shivering. It's all an act, a lieee. I'm 3 years old, yey me!

::Amy sniffs the floor when suddenly she feel something hit the tip of her nose:: merow..? >o.o< ::she blinked wondering what she ran into... it was bread! .. run away bread!! it was still rolling even after she bumped into it. her ears pointed up, suddenly getting very hungry and hopped twords teh bread, still wabbly, Amy tripped a few times but got into the pouncing possition and hopped catching the bread in her paws, then quietly nibbled on it.::

March 13th, 2005 Amy met her first friend! Qutlu, a orange and purple companion. A soon-to-be companion herself, they quickly hit it off. Amy had already met a few other cats, but Qutlu was all kinds of fun to hang out with. d00mpixie Hotaru-Neko ah the orange kitty!!! heart I like him, he's a cutiee! xd thanks, Hotaru! heart Amy's just an adorable little thing -- as all the FTC kittens are. i can't wait to see what she looks like grown up! ::Qutlu makes a beeline for where the treat-smell is; he sees little Amy, gives her a quick sniff and nose-touch, then gently headbutts her::Hotaru-Neko !!! ::Amy hisses and wiggles her paws in the air. she froze and looked a big orange cat right over her:: RAWR!! ::she pawed at it's faced and wagged her tail:: Hi I'm Amy::she flipped over so she was on all 4 paws and took a piece of her treat and broke it:: Here! want some?? d00mpixie ::Qutlu laughs a kitty laugh at Amy's antics:: i'm Qutlu! i haven't been around here for a long time... nice to meet you! ::gently takes the offered treat:: fank oo widdle one! ((said with his mouth full))

March 12th, 2005 Amy's first Kochii Hunt. Four new cats arrived that night at the center, so it happened to be by luck that on this night some of the more experienced cats held a training session to help out the newbies. It was hectic, and being a kitten she really couldn't hunt that seriously, but she had a lot of fun trying.xXTigeressXx I would like all the new FTC's to line up here with the kittens on the end down there to the right... Hotaru-Neko Amy troted in looking around. it was her first time at the play park, and a she was a very excited and confused cat. " wooow it's so big...""Go on, you heared what Tybris said, get in line over their to teh right." "right right right..." her ears folded back as she looked down at her paws trying to figure out what one was right.::hotaru nudged her in teh right direction and she scurried quickly to the end of the line, trying not to hold things up:: Quote: Goog...thankks Auntie....OK...Goodevening everyone.....I see you made it....welcome to the Play park and your first experience koichii hunting.....I just heard someone ask a question....a very good one....what is a koichii....well let me show you.... CHI! comeon out.....*a sudden white and blue blur pops from Tyris's fur and flys out over the crowd of FTC's and back to perch on Tybris's head Spreading her wings proudly and chittering*Everyone meet my companion chi...she is a female Koichii I caught here in the park.....as you can see she has feathery wings....the male koichii's will have bat like wings tho...and they come in a variety of colors and designs..... xXTigeressXx Now the object is to catch the koichii and return it to your owners for tagging...they are not only quick...but extremely smart...and some may give you a run for your money....now i ask all the hunters, companions, and show cats to gather to the left....adn all familiars to gather to the right...kittens may choose either side.....but do not wonder away from the group.....we still have feral cats roaming the park and it is not safe for anyone to be on there own. Hotaru-Neko ::Amys eyes lit up watching the flying mouse looking thing. she hopped up and down and wagged her tail, she noticed the other cats being very serious. she folded hers ears back and stood stright trying her best to not let her short attention spand get the best of her:: xXTigeressXx *Isis trots over quickly to join the awaiting group of FTC Familiars* .....Hello sister chibi....ummm I made this for you with the help of my owner... *places a flower leigh over Chibi's head* ....no fingers and all but I picked out the flowers.....I hope we can start over...i really didn't mean to offend youOK as soon as everyone is in there appropriate place we can start....everyone this is chibi she is a familiar and will tutor our new familiars in there training of hunting koichii with magic....anubis is also a familiar and will be teaching as well.....
I will be taking the rest of you around the park....and if cloud gets here....sometime...he will join us...he is our most experienced humter...he is a great asset and can answer any questions you have. Lil suddenly had to leave, so Anubis took over. xXTigeressXx so if all the hunters would follow me and the familiars should go ahead and follow Anubis....we will get started... *starts heading off into the woods* Hotaru-Neko ((bye lil))
::amy pointed her ears up and got ready to take a trip around the park. she was very excited and was learning a ton about being a Fein such little time. She walked over waiting to see who else was going to be in her group:: xXTigeressXx *looks about at the eager faces of his students*
OK.....this is a good spot as any....now I will tell you some of you will excel at hunting faster adn easier than others....the hunters generally do better but with hard work and training any cat can catch a koichii.....the first thing you must remember...is...silence...practice moving in silence...once you have that down you must add speed to the mix....in hunting koichii those are the 2 most important aspects....Koichii love to hide...but many times if you are quiet enough you can catch them off guard while foraging or sunning...Now I would like everyone to pair up Hotaru-Neko ::Amy nodded and her smiling faced soon dropped.. she was not quick, nor was she that quiet.. but she was going to do her best.:: Team.. up? ::amy's smile returned as she wagged her tail looking around for someone to team up with:: xXTigeressXx Once you have your partner....I would like you to take turns hiding and tracking each other...and NO peeking...continue this and once you get good at it wou never know you may come upon a koichii before you find your partner Hotaru-Neko ::Amy folded her ears back.. it seemed like everyone else had a partner. she walked around meowing, wondering if anyone else was left.. who was she kidding... who would want to team up with a small kitten? nobody prolly took her seriously.:: Does anyone... not have a partner? ::She said in a scratchy voice:: xXTigeressXx * letting go he leaps backwards and says unwinded* Now dominique is it...had you been listening and not putting down your class mates you might have let your instincts kick in just in time to notice that coming....Now if your done making a fool of yourself you will parter with sheba...she is waiting...and tret her with respect...I do not wish to have to speak to you again about this.
Amy my little darling I will partner with you kiddo come on and let uncle Ty teach you a thing or two... Hotaru-Neko ::Amy watched laying close to teh ground with hear ears folded back. she was kind of nervouse as the gray cat that just attacked walked up to her. she looked up and a great big smile came to her face. she finally had a partner! and one who seemed quiet strong at that.:: yeeeeey!! ok ok so what do I gotta do? ::She sat down and wagged her tail:: xXTigeressXx slooow down little one.....you are sure excited ok I'll tell you what...you go hide....and I'll come find you....and then we'll switch...kind of like hide and seek.....I'll even count to 10.... Hotaru-Neko oh great!!! I love this game.. ::she growled and scurried away:: no looking!! ::she giggled and hopped from bush to bush, though having very white fur was hard to hide, even in teh darkest of nights. Amy didn't relise that though and crawled up a tree, trying to keep her tail still::he'll never find me... ::She whispered:: xXTigeressXx *Tybris tries to hide a chuckle as the excited kit scampers off* 1.....2......3 *his ears swivel in the direction little amy scampered in picking up her everymove* ....4......5......6......7.......8...... *hears the scratching of bark* .....9.....10...Ok kiddo ready or not HEAR I COME!!!!
*sniffing the ground in the last area he noticed the kit he smiled and headed in her direction* *putting the clues together he circled the tree* ....Hmmm I wonder where amy is at.....she is such a good hider....I wonder where she could be Hotaru-Neko ::she twitched her hears and giggled with a big grin on her face:: hehehe!! ^___^ too good of hider to be found.. ::she lightly bobbled up and down on her lil branch:: xXTigeressXx *his ear twitched as he heard her giggleing and he suddenly devised a plan* *dashing behind the tree out of sight of amy he quickly and silently scaled the tree to settle on a branch above her* *as she craned her neck downward looking to see where he went he quickly scooped up the kit and tickled her* I fouuunnndd youuuuu..... Hotaru-Neko AH!! March 13th, 2005 Hotaru-Neko ::after Amy's first hunt, we camed to the park the next day for just a little fun. the sun was out, and the park looked much different than the night before. amy waved her small tail around and pounced over to the sand box, and started to dig in it, trying to make a hole.:: ..merow? ::amy started to get irritated, the sand just kept going back into the hole! she made a growling sound and stuck her head in it wiggling it around untill she was totally covered, except for he tail. She scurried around under the sand untill she poped back up for some air. her fun full of sand and almost a light tan-ish color:: chichimi Chi was watching Amy."Amy,if you keep that,your mom's going to have to give you a bath!"She laughed,drawing Amy for the scrap book. Hotaru-Neko hehe.. dont' worry about her, she's just having fun.. and the cats go into the sandbox to keep their fur nice and smooth.. Amy shoke her head and blinked trying to get the sand outta her eyes she saw a nearby tree and struggled to climb it. she got on a small branch right above the sand box and started bouncing on it:: one.. two.. threee!!!!! ::Amy slipped and fell twirling in the air and POOF! with a cloud of dust, she landed right in the middle of the sandbox.chichimi Chi laughed,taking out her future notebook.A note book she kept so when she read it when she was,say,30,she wouldn't forget stuff."I guess you're right" She said to Hotaru as she wrote. Hotaru-Neko ::hotaru shoke her head watching her kitten mess around. being half cat herself, she almost had and urge to go jump in the sand and play too.:: oh hey Rinzu! Hi Sage. ::she smiled giving him a pat on the head:: Rinzu-chan Rinzu: yawwn* tubles over and falls asleep sage: sweatdrop oi rinzu.. spots the kitten and chi and watches them*chichimi "Hm?"Chi looked up from her future book."Oh hi,rin,Sage"She nodded at them. Hotaru-Neko Hi Sage! I got sand ::she purrs and claws into to it, then suddenly gets a burst of energy and starts shaking and rolling around:: chichimi She laugheed,petting Sage."I have treats."She said,getting a box of orange yarn ball shaped treat.She took some out and held out them for Sage,and Amy if she wanted to come over and get some. Hotaru-Neko ::amys ears point up hearing the word treats:: TREATS TREATS TREATS!! ::she meowed happily and tried to make her way outta the sandbox, struggling to get out, she trips over the edge of the box and then quickly scurries over:: Treats for Amy too? chichimi She laughed again,and took out anther handful.She held it out to Amy."Treats for Amy,too." Rinzu-chan Sage: sniffs the treats then take a few and munches on them slowly then swalowing. He noded in agreement and smiled))sorry i'm not being very active i'm participating in a flatsale right now ^^: wink Hotaru-Neko ::she let out a high pitched mew and starting eating out of chi's hand. after eating her treats she got even more enegry back and started to hop in the grass, almost a foot off the ground::Now she looks like a feater tailed bunny... chichimi Chi Sighed,and set down the treats next to her on the beanch,so if they wanted more,they could help themselfs.She pulled the pen from behind her ear and then started to write again. Hotaru-Neko yeah. xd ::points to amy's hopping-ness:: ::Amy hopped all the way to the top of teh hill and then stopped. she waved to everyoen at teh bottom then started rollling down.:: rrrrraaawr! ::she curled up, gaining speed.:: heeeeelp! too fassst!!chichimi "hm?"She looked up to she her rolling down the hill."Dun worry!"She yelled."It's not that big of a hill!"She smiled,then went back to writing. Amy was all tuckered out after this, so I picked her up so she could enjoy her cat nap in the safety of the FTA building.

Hotaru-Neko ::Amy run into teh park with Her owner close behind:: Be careful now.. ::she smiled and watched Amy run to the sandbox. she seemed to have taking a liking to it very much. it was a sunny day. She ploped down and snuggled her small frame into the cooler sand. she closed her eyes and folded her ears back, taking in the rays. her tail ocassionaly flopping around.:: Lythiaren ((Aww! How cute! ^_^)) Rikou wandered the Park, Kiri fluttering close behind him and occasionally hitching a ride on her favourite perch: his head. As he came by the sandbox, Rikou's large ears perked up as he detected the scent of a kitten he hadn't met yet. Stealthily he creeped over to the edge of the sandy box and peeked over the edge to see if he could find the kitten before he was spotted. Kiri squeaked and flew into the sand, happily digging herself a little hole.Hotaru-Neko ::Amy was starting to doze off. the sand was so comfy and the sun made her tired... then suddenly she heared something else come into the sand. her ears twitched and her eyes slowly opened, moving her head over seeing a large kitty and a Kochii also playing in the sand:: mew..? Hi big kitty.. I'm Amy. ::she smiled with her right eye closed, still tired.:: ::hotaru waved to Chi and smiled:: hi hi.. seems I always meet you here.. ::she said with a laugh looking over at Amy:: eh, she's having fun resting.. That kitten has so much energy, do you know how odd it is to see that cat resting? she's like the energizer bunny. Lythiaren ((Aww! "Nice to meet you Amy! I'm Rikou. See the little gray and blue critter flinging sand all over? Her name's Kiri."
He gave the kitten a friendly smile and sat on the edge of the sandbox to watch his Kochii and the kitten, not wanting to fill his dark fur with pale sand. Hotaru-Neko ::Amy wagged her tail and looked over at Kiri:: Hi I'm Amy, I'm a kitty. ::she rolled onto her paws and lowered her body close to teh ground with hear ears folded back. oddly staring at teh lil Kochii.:: it's cute.. ::she smiled real big looking over at Rikou.:: Lythiaren ~chee!~
Kiri stopped her digging and blinked little golden eyes up at the kitten watching her, curiously tilting her head as if to ask "Where did you come from?"."You can touch her if you want, Amy. She's very friendly. She's just never seen a kitten before."
Rikou's tail flicked as he smelled another new cat entering the Park. What was it, lots-of-new-cats day? Hotaru-Neko (hehe x3) ::Amy inched closer to teh Kochii. her ears slowly pointed up a she gently pawed at it. her tail wagged and she got very excited again*. she looked up and saw another pretty kitty, this time it was a girl, like herself.:: woah what is it? blue cat day?*- Hotaru: I knew it wouldn't last long sweatdrop Lady_Shinigami Coventina's feathery tail sweeped the air back and forth, projecting her happiness that she wasn't alone anymore. She grinned at seeing cat's that she was becoming friends with and others that she didn't know which means more friends. themostloyal Xuxa: Glances back at Chisei and smiles. She looked at Amy and tilted her head curiously to one side. "Hey I've seen you around...hmm or maybe not...I'm Xuxa" She was still posed gracefully her head tilted upwards, her tail swirled around her legs. Lythiaren ((Er... forgot to say lady can RP Kiri too. xp Last post before I go poof!)) Kiri squeaked at Amy and hopped out of her hole, flapping her wings to keep her balance.Seeing that Amy wasn't looking at him anymore, he turned to see what she was looking at now. Seeing Coventina, he gave her a friendly smile and paw-wave.Lady_Shinigami (( *eyes starts to bug out* Ahh your too nice Lyth!! *hugs and giggles* Sure thing. ^^ )) Coventina grinned even wider when she saw a blue and gold cat paw-waved at her. She waved back excitedly. "Hey."Rikou walked briskly towards Coventina and smiled. "Hey. You're one of the new cats that I heard about right?" Rikou sat on his hunches as his tail flickered along with his ears. "My name is Rikou. What's yours?"Hotaru-Neko ::amy smiled and looked at all the pretty kittys:: Hi I'm Amy! ::she smiled and crawled to the side of the sandbox:: I hope I grow up pretty too. ::She gave a big smile and tried to wave her tail like teh other two female cats where, though it was much too small still:: Lady_Shinigami ((Sorry for being slow at RPing. ^^;; RPing 3 creatures at the same time is hard. )) She grinned. "My name is Coventina." She was about to say something until something interuppted her. Coventina looked around only to see who had called out, only to see other cats minding their own busy. It was when she looked down to find a little kitten waving her tail in happiness. Coventina smiled before going down low to be at eye level with the kitten. "Amy huh? That's a pretty name." Coventina's tail flourish in the air.Rikou smiled at the little kitten. "Yeah we have already met." Rikou winked at the kitten.I had to leave shortly after. :< Very fun time though.

March 19th, 2005 Amy wanders into the forest on a slow hunting night to practice her hunting skills, eager to impress uncle Tybris on their next encounter. Hotaru-Neko ::Amy walked slowly behind Hotaru as the entered the Park. Amy looked around... it was dark, and creepy. nor Human or Cat seemed to be around:: ehhh T__T ::Amy folded her ears back and inched closer to the ground. anything could just jump out at them from teh bushes. she didn't like the idea of doing this without Hotaru.. much less another Cat.Go on Amy... I'll be right here, if you need anything just give me a meow alright? ::she smiled twitching her ears and sitting down in the cool grass.:: ::Amy's eyes watered up. Thinking of going out in that... dark alone.. scared her out of her mind. but she also wanted to prove to all the otehr cats that she wasn't just another kitten. she lifted her head up and marched into the bushes. as soon as she was out of Hotarus sight she folded her ears back and curled up against a tree:: what if I don't catch anything.. mew, would that be embarrasing...::back over at the enterance, Hotaru waved her tail, very uneasy.:: Amy be careful... ::She moaned and layed all the way back, looking at the stars:: chichimi Chi was just entering the park,only seeing Amy and Hotaru. She trotted over to them."Worried about her?"She asked. Hotaru-Neko Hi Chi.. ::Hotaru tilted her head over and tried to force a smile:: hehe.. yeah I'm a bit worried. She's so small, I thought more cats would be here to help.. maybe I shoulda gone with her... ::She sighed and shook her head:: no no... she's going to have to go out on her own sooner or later, I was just hopping she woulda been a bigger cat when that happened. ::Hotaru laughed then folded her ears back:: I'm just scared she might run into some stray cats ya know? I saw that black cat before and I know he's mighty big... hopefully if she does run into him, he won't be interested in a kitten and just ignore her.. ::Back in the forest where Amy was at she slowly made her way threw.. her eyes where adjusting to the darkness, as she fluffed up her fur:: why can't.. I find one.. ::she growled, becoming frustrated by the fact that she hasn't' seen anything this whole time.:: Last week their where so many cats.. where are they.
::She whimpered and started to quicken her pace. she started breathing harder, the dark was starting to play tricks on her and then suddenly she stopped dead in her tracks. her ears twitched hearing a flapping sound::
...wings..
::her eyes widend... did she finally find a Kochii? she trotted following the sound and quickly hopped into a bush. her small purple eyes peeked out. yes! a small gray and white Kochii hopped around on teh ground. it must of been relaxed due to the lack of cats around that night. Amy narrowed her eyes and got low to the ground... she felt her inner cat come out. she hopped outta the bush meowing loudly and pouncing the scared Kochii. she could feel it moving around in her paws, she panicked as her claws came out, the Kochii squeaked and tried flying away, though couldn't fly up too high, after Amy's attack. she growled and jumped trying to catch it::
Please please!! don't' go away!! ::The Kochii started flying faster and higher until it was completely out of Amy's reach:: mew.. ::She folded her ears back and looked up, watching it disappear into teh treetops::chichimi Chi nodded."She'll be alright."She said,sitting down."Wow...No cats tonight?I wonder were they are?" Hotaru-Neko ::Amys eyes watered up, how could she had.. let it get away? she was so close... all she needed was one swipe of the paw and she woulda knocked it out. she continued to beat herself up over the lost, untill she heared more flapping noise.. though this one sounded quite far away.. she looked up and that same Kochii from before landed on a branch right over her!! she guessed it didn't see her, so she slowly and quietly crawled up the tree. and she put one paw on the branch. the Kochii quickly turned around and saw her, it's eyes bugged out and it quickly took flight landing on a branch on teh other tree, figuring Amy couldn't get it there. she growled and then took a deep breath:: HERE GOES NOTHING!! ::she meowed looudly running on the branch, jumping to the other tree, though... didn't quiet make it. she fell streeching and ploped right into a bush::
ok.. so maybe that wasn't the best way to go.. ouch!::she hissed trying to move her back right leg.. she must of hurt it when she fell. Amy begain to whimper.. what if Hotaru couldn't find her.. what if a feral got to her? or even worse.. she tried her best to get up, but it was no use. she weakly meowed, maybe the other cats would show up and help her...:: Queen of Lazy The forest was dark and full of shadows and silent but for the chirping of crickets. One particularly dark shadow was moving, slinking between trees and under bushes, the only things identifying it from the shadows around it were it's glowing yellow eyes. The shadow moved at a slow and steady pace, until a loud, but small meow was heard, followed closely by a crash and rustling noise. The shadowy creature stopped abruptly and raised it's head, scanning for the source of the noise. Hotaru-Neko ::Amy continued to quietly meow. she was begining to lose hope anyone would come to help her:: what if Hotaru can't find me.. what if I die? ::she squaked and thought about happy things:: Queen of Lazy Yamiyo, for that was indeed the identity of the yellow-eyed shadow amongst the shadows, swiveled his ears toward the mewing he heard and sniffed the air. At this distance he could only tell it was another Feather-Tail. Its age and gender could not be determined, nor could it be identified as feral or domestic. He decided to investigate, and resumed his silent, slinking gait, but altered his direction toward the noise and scent he picked up. Soon enough he came upon a bush that appeared to have been recently disturbed, and meowing sounds were coming from inside. He sniffed the bush and, sure enough, caught a strong Feather-Tail scent, but it seemed to be a kitten, and a domestic one at that, though the scent of human was nowhere near. Uninterested in kittens, Yamiyo was about to turn around and resume his hunt, but a rather meow caught his ear, and he thought again. He poked his head into the bush, sniffing and looking around for the kitten. Hotaru-Neko ::Amy heared someone near and mewed louder. she struggled with all her might to wiggle her way up, and bumped into his nose:: wahhha @_@ :;she growled poked hear head up from the bush, seeing a large black cat:: hi! I'm happy somone is here. look, I"m Amy. ::she smiled real big then whimpered::
My.. my leg is hurt. can you please help me? ::her lil eye watered up looking at the large cat:: your big.. who do you belong to? do you think you could take me to your owner? maybe they can help me find Hotaru, my owner. ::She wagged her small tail and smiled real big:: Queen of Lazy ((OMG Hotaru you play Amy so cute! whee How could anyone NOT help her? )) Upon reaching the inside of the bush, Yamiyo sees a little ball of white fluff. Yep. Kitten. he thinks. Just then, the furball raises it's head and bumps into his noise, causing him to recoil a bit. Suddenly his ears are bombarded with the mewlings of a kitten. He catches something about a hurt leg and an owner, but the kitten is talking so fast he can barely keep up. But he can see that her eyes are full of tears and she seems to be hurt and his gaze softens a little. Well, maybe he can help this kitten... but just this once... Shhh, shh... slow down, calm down... he gruffly instructs her. Now, relax. Let me get you out of this bush... With that he gently takes the scruff of her neck in his jaws and slowly backs out of the bush and sets her on the ground. Hotaru-Neko ::Amy ploped down, releaved to finally be out of that uncomfy bush, she shoke her head, looking around and getting a better look at the cat that was helping her.:: Thank you so much. that Bush was very uncomfy. ::she looked down at her leg and whimpered:: I guess I should not jump from trees.. ::she blushed, trying to hide how much her leg hurt:: I guess no catching of a Kochii for Amy tonight.. um, anyways do you think you could help me get to my owner? she's prolly really worried knowing her. ((Thank you. ^__^ eep gtg @__@; bad timing XP 'tis been fun ::shuffles away before she gets introuble:: )) Queen of Lazy ((*Pouts* Nuuu, dun leave Hotaru! sad )) Yamiyo cocks his head to the side watching the kitten. He didn't have much use for kittens and so generally kept away from them. He'd never really watched one before. They sure don't act like adult cats. An adult would have been much more wary of a stranger, but this kitten was just talking away. He nods to her thanks, but looks a little unsure of her request for help finding her owner. He didn't want to just leave her here in the forest, hurt, but he didn't want to go anywhere near humans, either. Yamiyo finally left Amy close enough to the opening of the park that her meows where in earshot of where Hotaru had been waiting for her return.

March 29th, 2005 Taking it easy so that leg can heal up nice and fast. She wanted to be able to hunt again next week. <3 Hotaru-Neko ::Amy Limped into the park. it was a gloomy day, and the temp had dropped to a comfy 60ยบ. their was nobody else in the park, and in some ways she enjoyed the alone time to just relax and do what she wanted. she looked around, and decided to stay clear of the trees for awhile.. and headed to the cool grass.
Amy walked around in it for awhile, her paws barely making any noise as she walked.:: Comfy day... ::Amy said to herself as she clayed down, looking up at the sky::

March 31st - April 2nd 2005 Amy made her way to the park ready for her next hunt! Hotaru-Neko Amy ran back into the park. her leg had finally healed up and she knew exactly what she was going to do.. go after that darn Kochii that did this to her in the first place. "Rawr it's daylight, but my fur will still sand out.." She looked around and spotted the sandbox.
"....Perfect!"
Amy crawled over and rolled around. it darkened her fur, and the sun didn't reflect off it as much. she was going to catch that lil rat if it was the last thing she did.. of course she was going to have fun doing it. after awhile of playing in teh sand, she decided to get back to the task at hand... she had to be serious now, this was no time to act like a kitten. her eyes narrowed and her body sharped up. she crawled around the tree's trying to hear anything that sounded like wings flapping.. "Be like a hunter amy.. rawr..." She grinned and continued to crawl around...
After a few hours of once again.. finding nothing, her paws started to drag, and her tail was limp. "Like... a.. a hunter..." She finally stopped and plopped down. she was seriously not made for this. it seemed like all the other cats could catch as many as 30 if they wanted to.. and here she couldn't find any!? of course she had forgotten her legs are still much smaller than the others, and she was also scared of climbing the trees again..
Amy could see many in the tree tops as she rested. her ears folded back as she whimpered. "no.. fair..." She was starting to wonder if she should just leave and try her luck with the other cats on Saturday. "..but the dark is scary.." She lowered her head down and quietly mewed for awhile. Marushii Cloud slunk around the fringes of the FTC playpark, a scowl upon his finely-angled feathers. He had been hunting the feral FTC for awhile now... Where was he?! The hunter growled softly under his breath as he breathed in Yamiyo's scent yet again. It was obvious that the feral was around here somewhere... But where? The hunter paused and studied the area with his azure blue eyes, peering into the depths of the shadows for the unseen and unknown trespasser. He had been at this for many days now, and his efforts always seemed to never pay off. The hunter snarled again at his failure, and decided to look elsewhere.
Now frustrated, Cloud turned away from the edge of the park, whipping his tail back and forth in agitation. Had it been a blade instead of a tuff of fur, the feather-tail would have been the envy of reapers. As such, his tail did no damage to the tips of grass that he slashed at... thankfully. He did not notice the colorful, tempting treats above him, nor when a chocolate-brown one with blue markings and green leathery wings fluttered down to him, only to perch upon his back. Cloud gave no sign or acknowledgment of the kochii's behavior, and instead continued on.
The hunter paused when Amy's quiet mewing reached his ears. His frustration faded to curiosity as he trotted forward on paws as white as his namesake. "Hey kitten. Are you all right?" The hunter asked, standing to one side and looking down on her, concern upon his face. Hotaru-Neko I wanna hunt a kochii. I tried a few weeks ago and I kinda.. feel outta a tree." she blushed and wiggled her leg, it was getting much better as the days went on. at this rate she should be fine for the hunt later that day. "but now I'm kinda scared of going up in the trees. and that seems to be where most of them are hidings... or maybe I'm not looking in teh right places on the ground."
she waved her small stubby tail around and nodded looking at then blue cat. "oh! when I fell outta the tree this nice big black kitty came and helped me. Have you seen him around? I wanted to thanks him. hehe, it seems I'm no good at hunting down kochii or other cats." she grinned and stretched out "Though I should get to resting a bit before tonight. I'm so determined to catch a kochii this week.." Marushii A kitten? Wanting to hunt the delicious, fast creatures? Cloud sat down in a smooth, fluid motion and flicked his tail around, covering his paws. "A kochii," He began, "Is a very swift, yet tasty treat. Do not feel ashamed if you can't catch one -- their swift speed only makes them taste sweeter when they are caught."
Cloud paused, a flick of his ear causing his metal earring to jingle softly. The hunter looked up as kochii fluttered free from one of the many trees, startled by someone 'invading' their perch. "No style at all..." He mewed softly under his breath, before nodding in their direction. "If you want a kochii, little one, track one of those down before they land. Be sure to not let them see you. However..." The hunter stood and stretched, flexing his claws as he prepared for the hunt that was to begin. "Care to tell me about this... 'black kitty'?" He knew of some cats that were black, but if it was the trespasser... He would have to be careful. I wonder if any of the other cats have seen him? He mused to himself, making a note to seek out other hunters like himself, as well as Rikkou. That cat stayed in the park seemingly 24-7 -- he had to have seen something, right? Hotaru-Neko "The black kitty was real big, I Think he said his name was Yamiyo. I asked him who his owner was but he never answered me. infact now that I think of it... he wouldn't even go near mine. he droped me off just close enough for her to hear my meows then he ran off."
Amy nodded and looked up in the trees.. what cloud said was very true, she had found out first hand how quick those lil rats where even when she had dazed one. but she tried to keep the fact that she prolly wouldn't get one outta her mind and just took his advice. Though.. she had never wanted to hurt, or.. eat one.
So now Amy knew what she had to do, she had to track one. and to make sure that she wasn't seen. "I'm a good hidder, rawr.." she wagged her tail and started walking around in small circles. "now to pick what one to track..." Marushii Cloud tilted his head to one side and pondered. Yamiyo... Yamiyo... Nope! Didn't ring a bell. Was this the trespasser? If it was, he was no closer, even if he DID have the cat's name. But, according to the kitten, if this... 'Yamiyo' was afraid to approach humans, did it mean that he was feral? He, himself could only stand his own owner personally, but...
The hunter chuckled at Amy's antics. "My name is Cloud. What is your name, kit?" Beside him, his brown kochii companion chattered and flapped his wings, as if demanding attention. "And this... Is my kochii-companion, Charon. My two-legger and I used to call him just 'kochii' until my two-legger began calling him that. Would you like to learn some tips and tricks from a pro, kitten?"
The hunter paused and glared over his shoulder, spotting the humans near the FTC's main building. "First, let's move. The two-leggers there... Have a habit of scaring kochii away. There won't be any kochii in this area." He began walking deeper into the park, Charon quickly taking wing to land upon the hunter's back. The hunter continued his quiet steps before pausing, and looking back to Amy to hear her reply. Hotaru-Neko "Will you really help me??" She smiled real big, maybe now she would have a chance at catching one. she scurried off deeper into the forest untill she could not see or hear any humans.
"alright I'm ready. just tell me what to do." ::she smiled real big getting ready to pounce. "rawr, oh! how rude of me.. sorry, I'm Amy! I'm 3 weeks old" she said with a very silly grin on her face. Marushii Cloud nodded to the kitten and paused as he heard a familiar voice. "Hey, Tybris!" He mewed, "Wanna help me teach a kitten how to hunt like a Hunter? C'mon this way -- and bring your friend, too!"
The hunter turned and set off after the energetic kitten, missing when Tybris hopped off the fountain and began hunting.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Amy." Cloud said, before nudging Charon to the ground. "Being a hunter means to rely on your own body and abilities. Whereas familiars use the elements to hunt for them, and companions don't do it at all..." Cloud raised his head and puffed his chest out proudly. "We hunters are the strongest and fastest of our kind. First... basics."
The hunter walked a wide circle around Amy and Charon, his steps soft and silent. "First, practice walking silently. The more of a shadow you become, the more unsuspecting the kochii will be." Hotaru-Neko "ooo I see.. well I'm going to be a compainon but I'm still going to hurt real good" She nodded her head full of determination. while watching the big cat walk, she very impressed with how quiet it was. "Well I don't weigh much so maybe I won't make much noise either." She nodded and tried her best... though it wasn't even near quite. Out of frustration she pounded her paws at the ground and relised that wasn't helping things.
She closed her eyes and concentrated very hard. "Shadow, shadow.. Amy be a shadow" She hummed her words and slowly started to walk, her step becoming just a bit quiter, but it was a start. xXTigeressXx ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ *hearing voices Ty goes into stealth mode...grinning from ear to ear he peers through a bush noticing his target...crouching low he readies himself....then as if appearing out of nowhere he pounces cloud tumbling them into the leaves...leaving a stunned amy* *Isis trots up.....* i swear he will never get the kittenish out of himMarushii "Good, good." He purred, watching Amy. "That's a good start. Even if you ARE a companion... Imagine how much this'll pay off when you pounce your two-legger unexpectedly." The hunter straightened up as he heard a sound, followed by the fluttering of kochii. Another graceless...? Or was it --
Before he could look, Tybris pounced him. Cloud gave a yowl of unhappiness as his concentration was broken as he tumbled with Tybris. The hunter quickly flipped over to his back and rabbit-kicked Tybris to get the big kitten off of him, before he rolled to his paws and playfully crouched, ready to pounce on Tyrbis as soon as the other hunter regained his footing. "Well well! If it isn't Ty-ty! How've ya been, and who's your friend?" xXTigeressXx *jumping to all 4 feet and skidding to a halt* Cloud my brother...long time...you must be getting old...you didn't even notice me....your slackin...OLD man.
sweatdrop OH sorry...cloud meet my sister...this is Isis...she is a familiar...and *proudly puffs up his chest* she made her first koichii catch tonight...thanks to my wonderful teaching skills...
*noticing amy...using a paw he ruffles the fur on her head* hey there squirt...uncle cloud teahin ya good?*walking up to cloud she bonks heads with him* hello cloud so nice to meet you...Ty has told me so much about you Hotaru-Neko Amy continued to paw around, as quietly as she could... repeating her "shadow song" to herself. she soon wandered a bit farther away from the other cat, though not relizing it. "shadow amy... "she purred softly, then suddenly she heard some flapping noises. she quickly turned her head seeing a bunch of Kochii flying out a bush. her eyes darted at all of them. stay clam stay clam! ok target one, be like a shadow, concentrate!!
She made a small growl and she springed off the ground and grabbed one right out of the air. remembering last time she firmly pushed it agains the ground making sure it wouldn't' fly away. it started to squirm but this time she didnt' let it freak her out. Amy let out a hiss and pushed down even more on it, being a kitten, it was taking all her power to hold it down.
"Common you stupid rat stay still!" and seemingly right after she said that it stopped moving. what did that mean? her ears pointed up and she slowly lift her left paw. the Kochii slightly twitched, laying unconscious under her paws. she got up and looked down at it. "oh me gosh!! I caught one!!" She meowed happily, walking around it.
"wait... what do I do now?" Amy's ears lowered and she carefully picked it up in her mouth and ran twords where cloud was. hopefully him or another cat could tell her with what to do with her catch. Marushii "'Old'?!" Cloud meowed, drawing himself up. "That's experienced to you, you giant kitten!" He then looked to Isis and gave her a nod in greeting, but nothing more -- his past with a certain female familiar left him with doubts about familiars in general.
Except for Rikkou. Rikkou was Rikkou, and that was left at that.
He stiffens at Isis's greeting, before relaxing. "Has he now...?" He asked, grinning. He looked up when Amy returned, perking up. "Hey! You got one! Nice job, Amy -- you can give it to your two-legger to release later, or eat it. They're quite good, allthough messy." Amy didn't want to hurt the Kochii, so she proudly presented it to Hotaru. My little Amys first catch. heart crying
