MY STORY

Now this isn’t any inexperienced person talking to you. My brother and me know how to hack people and boot Gaia. It was fruitful but never worth it. No matter how careful you are eventually YOU WILL GET CAUGHT!!! So don't try it!!! You enjoy the time for about 2 years if you’re lucky and careful, but eventually Gaia tracks you down and waits till you do that mistake to sell you off and BAM!!! After our accounts were banned my brother gave up, but I didn't. And so this is why I am here. The most I hacked were 18 people and I booted some rare items like D-tail and stuff. My bro was caught first but only for booting, after that I told them that...well...we hacked and booted. As a confessions and asked to be banned. 3 accounts later and now I am up to this. I gain all my stuff honorably and all the stuff I hacked was given back.

PREVENTION

The reason why hacking was so easy it was people did not even read the TOS, Stickies, did create strong passwords and/or believed they could make money the easy way. They would search google and look for ways to hack Gaia. I assure you all of the options shown will get you hacked. I mean think about it, as easy as you go to those websites, so can the makers of Gaia. Before you know it, there on to you or you got hacked.

PASSWORDS

Don't use familiar words or words liked to anything about you and you Gaia account. If you’re an anime fan please do not use an anime name. If possible make up a word or a phrase that you never say in Gaia and barely in RL. NOT FEELING SAFE EVEN WITH YOU PASSWORD? THINK SOMEONE CAN GUESS IT? SIMPLE, USE CAPS, LOWER CASES, NUMBERS, AND SPECIALLY SYMBOLS!!!

OTHER THINGS

Always before you log in, make sure the URL bars says WWW.GAIAONLINE.COM If you log out, in any section of Gaia, clear out the URL bar and once again type WWW.GAIAONLINE.COM
Also very important, watch out for links people post in Gaia! Know were you are going, and stay away from porn ninja Viruses such as key loggers, which can see anything you type; even in the password bar, could be acquired in you computer if you don't watch out what sites you go to, even though it is highly unlikely for people to use suck programming just to get your Gaia pass but some people really have no life and might try.

WATCH WHAT YOU SAY

Don't risk yourself flaming people on Gaia, posting, or saying anything above PG 13. Do you know if you were to flirt off and the girl claim your harassing her for (IDK sex or meeting them at some place) even though it is not true, Gaia will not take the risk and won't think twice. You will be banned. So don't do anything that is not worth it

TIPS

AFRAID OF BEING HACK, INSECURE IF YOU WOULD HAVE ENOUGH PROOF TO SAY YOU WERE HACKED AND WHAT ITEMS THEY TOOK FROM YOU. TAKE SCREENSHOTS!!! YES BY TAKING SCREENSHOTS OF ALL OF YOU ITEMS, USERNAME, FRIEND LIST (JUST INCASE) YOU CAN PROVE THAT YOU ARE THE OWNER OF AN ACCOUNT. I EVEN WROTE A PM SAYING THAT I AM THE OWNER OF THIS ACCOUNT, SEND IT TO MYSELF, AND THEN SAVED IT IN MY SAVED BOX AND TOOK A SCREEN SHOT. NOW THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL ANYONE OTHER THAN YOU, THE OWNER, THAT COULD GET THAT MUCH INFO ABOUT AN ACCOUNT. This also helps cause if they were to refund the items you lost, would have proof of what you had and didn't. That was a mouthful of caps but it well worth it if you read it.
