Ok, so heres my rant. The individuals on Gaia, online, fanfiction.net, or just in general, when they converse about Yaoi. Let’s get one thing straight people, I don’t think even HALF of you know what “Yaoi” is.
*Dives away from crazy anime fans*
Now, heres my problem. I go into the A/M/C, only to find it littered with Naruto/InuYasha obsessed n00bs who can’t even put a topic in the correct place. Then I find others, who converse about things such as “Gravitation” and “Loveless” and who continually call them “Yaoi”’s.
I know this is going to hurt, but they are not yaoi, they are Shonen Ai.
Yes, my obsessed-with-drawings-of-homosexual-men-doing-it friends, Gravitation is not a yaoi. Let me explain why.

Shonen Ai: Two individuals, usually of the same sex, with hints of intercourse or there of with included censoring.

I know, oh my god. Many of you may be saying “Well, I’m using it as an Umbrella term.” My reply. “DON’T N00B!” No, you do not use “yaoi” as an Umbrella term, that makes you stupid and ignorant and I will find you! Others will be telling me “Well what about manga’s like “Desire” and such, where we see the two men doing it, we even get to see scene of their *****.” But let me say, NO! If the p***s is censored out to the point that the individual is touching air with random spits of liquid, that is censoring, and once again, is a Shonen Ai. If we don’t see complete male nudity, then it’s a Shonen Ai.
Now, come obsessed yaoi fans who don’t even understand the term. (Usually those that are ten to the age of sixteen who for some reason love two men doing it… Oo)
