I am studying for these two standardized tests, I have the reading comprehension down pretty well and I am able to find the answers to questions easily, but I am having trouble on the math portion. I also need a few tips on the writing portion- a little help will be nice!
I was taught the basic style of writing back in elementary and middle school and I have broken away from just restating the topic. I have also been told to start andend with a general sentence and as you 'dig' further into the mass of ink that you get more detailed. I just would like to know how you write essays and reports.

The big thing to remember on the SATs is that essays are graded on style, NOT content.
I have a hard time on the math, too. Does anybody know if Probability and Statistics are going to be a big thing on the test? Those are the weakest of my weak math skills.

Choose the word or set of words that, when inserted in the sentence, best fits the meaning of the sentence as a whole.
