Donations

Firstly, I’d like to point out that donations are not required in any was to be a member of this guild (unless you count the joining fee). If you would like to donate, however, this sticky is designed to give you information on what your gold will be going towards and answer and of your questions.

Where will it go?

Guild Donations: At the moment, all donations to the guild will be put towards purchasing sub-forums for the guild forums. Sub-forums are purchased for 2.5k each, and in the current circumstances it may take some time for us to save up for each of them. The sub-forums which we are planning to purchase for you in the future include:

arrow Prose sub-forum (posting)
arrow Prose sub-forum (reviewing and critiquing)
arrow Fan-fiction sub-forum (posting)
arrow Fan-fiction sub-forum (reviewing and critiquing)
arrow Poetry sub-forum (posting)
arrow Poetry sub-forum (reviewing and critiquing)
arrow Challenge sub-forum (This will be an expanded version of the Weekly Prompt Challenge - with extra challenges and activities the members would like to participate in)
arrow Artists sub-forum (A forum where writers can post pictures such as character portraits)
arrow Off-topic (A forum to discuss anything and everything from your favourite tree to what you ate last night)

If there are any other sub-forums you would like to request, please PM myself (akukei) or Tsuta with you request - and we will take it into consideration.

Other donations: Once we get up and running, we'll hopefully be holding some competitions and awarding prizes for activities such as the Weekly Prompt Challenge.

If you wish to put your donations towards this, you will need to notify either myself or Tsuta. We will then recieve your donation of items or gold through a trade. This is due to the fact that we cannot take money out of the guild funds to purchace prizes.

Is there anything in it for me?

Currently there are no specific rewards for those who choose to donate to the guild. All donators will be greatly thanked, and noted on the guild forums. Overall, your donations will allow us to provide members with a better experience within the guild community.

Also, if you choose to donate 2.5k towards one of the guild sub-forums, we also encourage you to request which sub-forum you would like added - as thanks for allowing us to purchace it.
