Hair.: Her hair is black with streaks of white. It reaches down to about her butt. She hardly ever wears it up unless she's doing some sort of physical activity. Ume has huge, fluffy, straight across bangs. Coming out from on top of her ears are two puffs of hair. One on each side. Note: Ume's hair isn't intended to make her look 'gothic' or anything strange like that.

Key.: Silver ring with an open book on it. (Note: It's a pretty big ring too xp )
Command.: Open Your Mind! (She's been known to try and say it in other languages as well! But just English mostly.) (Apra la vostra mente! or ¡Abra su mente! are two other common ones. But being the lover of knowledge she is, this was coming!)
Wand.: Out of the open book on her ring comes Ume's wand. It's a black stick that's a little less than two feet long. Wrapping the stick is a ribbon that fades from told to white. Covering off the top are two wings like she has. In the middle is an open book that is attached to the stick. Around the upper right corner of this book floats a ring of random letters; they are in different languages and can be capital or lower case.
Costume.: Ume's costume isn't very elaborate. Because of her strange hair and eyes, Ume has been the object of mean and scared looks her whole life. So the last thing she wants is to stand out even more with a huge, brightly colored costume. Her outfit consists of a black button down long sleeve shirt. It has a white collar, cuffs, and lace in some places. For a bottom she has little black shorts with lace on the bottom edges. They don't go quite half way down her thighs. On cold days, she might where a pair of dark grey tights, but they aren't normal. For shoes Ume wears simple black boots. They don't even have a little heel on them. They go a little less then half way up her shin. They lace all the way up.
Strange feature.: When her costume comes on, Ume gets two wings. One is demonic and the other is angelic. These wings however, are not big enough to enable her to fly. They can help her jump higher and do flips (somewhat). At most though, they could only keep her floating for five seconds so so.

Here was my first RP contest entry~ 3/8/07RP Prompt Some strange force has been causing trouble all over campus. People have been hurt in small accidents, items have gone missing, classrooms have been trashed, people have gotten lost for no apparent reason- something is definitely wrong! One evening, in a deserted part of the grounds, you somehow encounter this strange force. Describe what happens, and how you capture the card.
They did not stay closed for long though. Moments later, I was roughly awakened by a surge of energy; it felt so near that some of my hair stuck up in the air! Which was quite a stunt, seeing as my hair was a good couple of feet long! Whipping around immediately, I scanned the surrounding area for what could have possibly caused that puzzling force. All around the campus I have been hearing of classrooms being completely turned upside down and the girl in the dorm down from me was walking to her room one day and appeared to trip over something; the only problem was that there was not any object in site that she could have tripped on! Not to mention that I searched EVERYWHERE for my math homework, and could never find it! It is just a hunch, but I think whatever is causing all these strange occurrences is here in this garden with me right now.
Ninja like, I begin creeping around the beds of flowers; searching until I could find where the force was the most prominent. Ten minutes or so later, I stood up straight and felt like the dumbest person in the world. I was just wondering around a garden, getting mud on my boots, twigs in my hair, rips in my shirt, looking for a ‘force’. Wow. Just as I turned my heels to go, a strange tingling then burning surged up the pointer finger on my right hand. Becoming very confused, I lifted my right hand up to face level. Sure enough, my finger was glowing brightly; but to my surprise, it was my ring that was glowing! Helping to add to my confusion, I suddenly felt the force spring up again. Just as I turned to look in the direction of the force, my ring exploded with light. All I got of the force was that it looked confusing and chaotic. Out of my ring came a large, very old looking book. The only words written inside were ‘Open your mind!’ Quizzically, I spoke the three words. A staff like object rose out of the book; it was black with a ribbon that faded from gold to white which extended across the entire length. Two cute, little wings came fluttering out from the sides, one angelic and one demonic. At center stage was an open book, with random letters circling the top right corner; some appeared to be in other languages! Even more of a shocker, I felt the air rushing around past my ear. Turning my glance from the wand, I nearing had a heart attack when I discovered two wings! And they were on my back! Even stranger, they were just like the ones on the wand; but did not appear large enough for flight. All this was truly too much for a 16 year old girl to take in at once! In frustration, I squeezed my eyes shut.
Upon finally opening my eyes, I discovered that the light had gone. A creature lay cowering in a bed of flowers, shielding its eyes. The first thought in my mind was to possibly help the poor thing but my wand had other plans. Jerking my arm forcefully, the wand pointed down at the defenseless creature. As the edge of the wand began to glow, those three words pushed themselves back into my mind and it became clear to me. I shouted, “Clear your mind!” as loud and forcefully as I could muster. The creature lifted its head from the safety of its hands, but it was too late. Another blast of light then blinded me. Being some what use to this, I peeked through the cracks of my fingers to see what had happened. Floating in front of me was the most simple thing, a card. On the front it had a picture of the creature with, ‘The Chaos.’
After retrieving the card and watching the wand disappear, I started the trek to my dorm. I still was not entirely sure what had happened, but I did know that I was tired beyond all reason. All I knew and had for now was my ring, a card, a wand, and three words.
