[ ] :: Total slaughter. Total slaughter. :: So, this week has been my spring break and since morning TV is nothing but kid shows.... I've been bored enough to watch some. Last Friday I watched like 4 minutes of the Teletubies. Which is on crack. The other day ago I was watching some Mickey Mouse playhouse thing, it's all interactive and impractical. Though all kid shows seem to be. Then like an hour ago I was watching Sesame Street and half of the Wiggles.... I need new TV to watch x_x All these shows are on drugs and just.... freaky.
Please tell me I'm not the only one bored to death enough to watch these ridiculous shows. :: I won't leave a single man alive. :: [ ]

I have no problem watching kids shows as long as they don't go "=D what color do red and blue make?" "Black" "That's right! They make purple =D"

I'm forced to watch entire episodes because I have a five year-old sister.

I love making fun of them. Like Dora. Why the hell is a five year old allowed to walk around to dangerous places that she doesn't even now about. I mean crossing a lake with crocodiles! And she obviously isn't mentally healthy. She talks to a talking monkey for christ sake. And that fox, he's like a kiddnapper! Yet nobody does a thing about him, where are the fricken cops! Her parents are so not good parents.

Kid shows freak me out, especially Boohbah, which surprise, surprise! came from the producers who brought us Teletubbies, yay. stare
But I have seen one kid's show that teaches how to read using these puppets and sad to say, I like two of the characters enough to want to keep them. x_x

How can 8-year-olds be allowed to wander around the city by themselves and go to the mall and stuff?! Would any parents even think about letting their 8-year-old do something like that?

Depends on the town they're in. There are towns where you can leave your stuff outside and no one would steal it. There are also towns where no crimes are commited.
There's also the fact it's just a cartoon to entertain kids and doesn't have to fit with the actual world we live in.
When asking questions like that the best answer is always is "Because it's in the script."

[My mom watches Curious George ever morning. since I usaully sleep on the couch, in front of the TV, I'm end up watching it. That, or I have really weird dreams that go along with the show's script. DX]
