Mine would have to be StarCraft... err, maybe.
I also like Diablo II a lot.

Favorites huh?

At the moment, it is definetly Supreme Commander. But as for "all time" it would have to be either the Metal Gear series, or the Legacy of Kain series. God of War is up there somewhere too...

It's hard to tell, because I'm really getting sick of turn based RPGs.

I mentioned about an RPG that I considered to be a flop, and a few people in that guild actually took up for it, saying that it has an easily abusable system...it still doesn't mean that it's s**t.

It was almost in that, that I'm starting to hate Japanese turn based RPGs. If people heard me say that, they would crap bricks.

I'm a fan of Command & Conquer: Generals, and its expansion pack, Zero Hour. I also like Wing Commander: Privateer, Privateer 2: The Darkening, MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries, and Hardw[a]r: The Future Is Greedy.

The Japanese are good at reflex-based and real-time fighting RPGs. I don't find it necessary for them to release turn-based RPGs.

I think turned based is old.

But I will forever love Final Fantasy VI, VII and VIII.

But for future RPG's I think seeing how they can now do dynamic combat systems they should experiment with them, to release more aciton based combat. FFXIII looks like it will be a great combination of both turned based, and action. It reminds me of Xenogears. Kind of pseudo turned based but with a real time feel.

But i'm starting to get into Western RPG's. I'm playing Jade Empire, and I love it, the combat is pretty interesting, and it has a good story, and also the moral choices you make.

Deus Ex is also another great example.

Call Of Duty 3
Fable: The Lost Chapters ( I just started it, so it probably won't be my favorite for very long. )
Elder Scrolls IV
Far Cry instincts: Predator ( Mostly the Map Editor. )

In that order.

I got Dawn of War a few months ago and still haven't tried.

I'd pick up Winter Assault for $10, but eh, don't want to run the risk before I play DoW. The demo didn't impress me all that much.

Believe me, it's so much better with Dark Crusade than the original. I bought the Platinum Edition, and it came with all three games. Epic playing ftw.

I've been playing Frontier: First Encounters, which is part of the Elite series: a series of space trading games that were popular for their times until they faded to obscurity and remained as cult games. I've always liked to travel to different systems and blast whoever poses a threat to where I go while I do my runs and missions. Okay, this game is somewhat of an FPS but not in the sense of ground-based combat that most FPS games utilize nowadays.

Still, this will always be a classic in my eyes. I can't wait for the next Elite-based game to come out, which is Elite IV.

cool
