I much prefer U of M since one of my siblings go there and Ann Arbor sounds like an awesome place to be.

Personally, i like both.
But if it were a game between the two, i'd have to go with The Wolverines.

My family's forced me into being a U of M fan cause they're obseeeeessed with the football team, but I don't care about football and I'm too young to be in a university.

Damn skippy go blue! but no one can deny that state is a great team, just not as good as the wolverines hehe.. and in response to the post about ann arbor its just another place and everything is super expesive because of the college there so its not that exciting or different really.

Neither biggrin
Personally, I'm not going to be able to afford to attend either so I refuse to choose loyalties between the two. (Hell, I will not be able to afford 95% of MI's universities, thus I will be leaving the state to attend university. Good going MI, you just lost a potential Ph.D grad ) My family is for U of M though.

Western Michigan University Of course, I might be biased - I live so close to WMU that I can hear the football games from my house!

I'm in the wonderful situation of having one side of my family being MSU, and the other U of M. I'm probably more partial to U of M, but I will still cheer on State so long as they aren't playing the Wolverines.
However, anything's better than the orange-and-white plague, if you ask me. So many of them in my area...
