Today is sunday! On Sunday we do still lifes, which I hate, but I don't mind painting grapes, so I did that! How many weeks, I wonder, will I be able to get away only painting grapes in various arrangments.
Also, I lack the acrylic craft paint -Yellow. There is no yellow in this pic.
Omg! It's huge~ That is, indeed, my hair on the ham.

Very nice! It's great to see artists sketching in mediums other than graphite. I adore the loose strokes and the set-up. Next time, to avoid warping, you may want to tape down all sides of the piece to the table or a board while you work on it and until it dries. Also, think about giving your still life something to sit on - a horizon line if you will. That way it doesn't feel so much like it's floating.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks. I'm glad you like them, because, if we're being honest pals here, I only paint that way because I'm to lazy to make anything look finished. I have more sketches to post but my mom is mad at me for being up late. ^____^ This place is wonderful! I don't know why it's not flooded with people. I'm telling everyone I know about it.

lol Well, if you stick through the course, we'll have a few paintings you'll have to make finished =)
If you're mom's yelling at you, go ahead and go. I don't want to get anyone in trouble T.T
Thanks for spreading the word! If this summer is successful, I may run this course every summer.

Todays cara's are brout to you by the letter B!
This isn't a mask, I just happen to be a fat unicorn beast. Arg, don't even talk to me about this mask. I wanted it to be like a buffalo that is actually a unicorn but it just ended up looking bad.
I have a better pic that I'll up load later.
This is Bekcy (Baby Zuccinni) ... I think they call it... Sans Refrence? I didn't look at her or anyone else. Her eyes really are that color. She's so beautiful.

Next time try to get at least a picture reference for the model so you can exaggerate even more! Good practice though =) Pretty eyes <3

Oh no, that was just a portrait. My scanner shut down in the middle of uploading the pic I wanted. Here, I'll get it now.
I think that my scanner might have been scarily close to breaking there. It was makeing such a funny noise.
Anyway, this is Jessaka. She was right next to me in Bio class. I kept making her stop writing notes and look over at me. I didn't do a very good job. I've never been any good at these things.

lol I disagree. I like it! Sorry to pounce on the last one.
I still say more exaggeration. I'll see if I can dish out a caricature tonight to show everyone what I mean. XD In the mean time, I have a painting due for my class tomorrow that's barely even 75% done. That comes first for me.
I love the shading though.

Perfectly understandable. Homework comes first, or so everyone tells me, but I never listen.
I'm finally finished this freaking peice! Arg, it took so long!
