Satu's name is definitely interesting. Satu itself is Scandinavian for 'Fairytale', a hint at the stories she grew to love, and still has a fondness for. Her last name, Ásbjörn, is Norse, with the meaning of 'Star Bear'. This relates more to her family, who are Gurahl and Gurahl kinfolk. Whether she is Gurahl or not, remains to be seen.

Satu is a steady, slow moving girl. She never rushes things, and always thinks before acting. She is a very methodical girl, and is known to start things as soon as they are handed out, just so she has enough time to finish it her way. She is a creature of routine, and rarely deviates from the routine things in her life. Satu almost never moves very quickly, and it takes a great deal to rouse her ire. However, once that near-impossible feat is accomplished, one would find themselves with a life-long enemy.
Satu is a bit of a bookworm. She loves to learn new things, and is often found with her nose in a book of some sort. Often times, it relates to the outdoors, or is some kind of fantasy tale or something about old religions or cultures. Satu also loves anything having to do with magic and other races...though she stays far away from anything that involves 'Black Magic'.
Satu is the sort of girl who learns many things through experience and example. Want her to learn an equation? Do an example first, then have her do it. Despite her slow and steady nature, she's a curious little thing, and doesn't mind sticking her nose into something...even if she pulls it out covered in bee stings.
She's also a bit of a protective girl. Satu loves kids younger than her, and treats them like beloved younger siblings...though bullies find themselves being dragged to the teacher or playground monitor by the ear. Despite her slow nature, her larger-than-average size and generous amounts of time spent outdoors gives her a decent amount of brute strength. She's the girl who will sit with a classmate or younger kid and just listen to them as they rant or ramble or cry, and seems to know what to say...most of the time. Satu is...cute. And sturdy. Medium build with Caucasian skin that is often tanned, a body used to being outside, and a round face with wide eyes, a mouth that smiles easily, and very little about it that is 'sharp'. Her eyes are a dark brown, almost black, and are filled with curiosity. Her dark brown hair is chin length and curls inward at the bottom. She's tall for her age, standing at 5' even, rather than the average 4'6" many girls are at her age, and she certainly weighs more, with the wiry muscle she has.
Satu is not one to wear fancy clothes often, and is comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. She's often in dark, earthy colors, with the occasional splash of bright color. And her clothes are practical...even in her fanciest clothes, she can still wade into the mud to retrieve a younger child who has gotten herself stuck.
