It basically is Bush. Read Crimes Against Nature by Robert F. Keneddy Jr. It says that Bush basically has weakened or destroyed all of the laws we have to protect our enviroment. It has a bibliography for basically every sentence he wrote that backs up to Library of Congress documents.

Seeing as humans are the most intellegent species on the planet, you'd think that we would try a little harder, as a whole, to not screw up the planet. Obviously I was mistaken.
I feel like ranting. *goes to rant forum*

It has a bibliography for basically every sentence he wrote that backs up to Library of Congress documents. and he is trying to protect his oil industry for when he leaves office. I mean why would he want to hurt his company by passing ecofriendly fuel laws? It is unfair

The whole nobody's listening thing is more of a US thing. I've been living in Germany for 3 weeks (I leave tommorow cry ) and everything over here is efficient. Most houses have solar panels, there's wind turbines, high emmisions standards, and the cars have great mileage. It's just America.

Sometimes I wish Pres. Bush didn't win the presidency, and Al Gore did. If he won Florida, our country would be a lean, mean, carbon fighting machine!

America is pretty much the biggest problem because in many foreign countries, the CO2 is being controlled. My parents are Portuguese, so I've been there many times. Everytime I go, I notice everything is so much better. And I don't know how it is in Germany, but in Portugal, the air isn't as thick. It's wonderful! If we could follow the same example, everyone here might be able to experience that same fresh feeling of clean air.

The American goverment is controlled by big corporations (oil) which in turn control the media. So instead of the media focusing on how messed up everything is its about Terrorism and Illegail immigrants. Big whup, none of that will really matter when the Earth is destroyed and humanity is on the verge of extinction. People wont listen until something is shoved down their throats

It's a documentary by Al Gore about Global Warming. I can't help but think of how different America would be if he had won the election instead of Bush.

Well if Gore was elected, I doubt he would be as much of an activist as he is today because as president he would have to deal with party politics. Though don't get me wrong, he would still have been better that big oil company Bush.

That isnt fair! you cant blame it all on america. Just because we seem to have the biggest problem doesnt mean that we are the only ones.

Other countries in the world look up to America and follow our lead (sometimes I wonder if they have a choice) Military wise we are the strongest country, and I dont remember having any emission protocols in America. Its almost like people just dont care what happens, cant say i pity those peolple when the Earth dies on us and then they die.
