I think we need one, but not for that reason...We shouldn't limit ourselves by shearing off sci-fi fantasy...Anne McCafrey merged the two nicely...As did many other authors. confused

True.

I'm not huge on sci-fi besides movies and sorts so I am not the greatest sci-fi RP'er.

There's a series though, The Young Wizard Series, I find it more sci-fi then fantasy but also fantasy. It's quite an interesting series. Well put together and more scientific spell work.
