Yeah so, we all know this quote don't we? (The classic Al mother quote)
To most of us, it's kinda random, perhaps the fact that Ed is drooling would be more of a concern to some than his stomach exposed. I never quite got it.. untill one fateful night *cue dramatic music*
I couldn't sleep so I grabbed my brother's book on myths and legends. And low and behold on the Japanese section it spoke of the thunder god, Raiden. In folklore, apparantly, Japanese kids are told that Raiden eats little kids tummies, so as to not tempt this god, you should always keep it covered.
There's some random piece of trivia for you.
