Are you learning about another culture?
Who are you learning about?
Which language are you learning, if any?

Where would you most love to travel?

This is the thread to discuss such questions. cool
I myself take a high interest in travel, language and culture. Everytime I walk past that Travel World agency I snag a magazine just to look at all the places overseas I would love to visit. Either that or I hug the statue guy who's holding the magazines... sweatdrop moving on...
I'm on my second year of French. At the end of next year my father's agreed to take me to Paris, London and we will be staying with our relatives in Scotland. Getting in touch with my Scottish roots. XD
I also read a lot about Japan.
Before you make judgement let me stress that I definitely do not think "ZOMFG IMA LIVE THERE!1! GETTING A JOB WILL B EASY!1 LOL EVEN THO I DNT SPEAK JAPANESE BUT DATS K!" because to be honest I don't even think I would enjoy living there. I don't believe that it's the best country in the world. I don't believe that people fly around like in anime and that I will meet Inuyasha. I read about their lifestyle, festivals and a little about their history. It is a place I would love to visit.

i have only ever been to Canada & Mexico... crying
but i want to go to the British Isles & Europe & Japan & Australia.
i speak French pretty well & Japanese rather badly... heh...

biggrin Oh that's cool! I live in Australia. ^^ If you do make it here please check out Sydney. One of my favourite places. <3
I've been to the Philippines. I was about 3 or 4 when I went but I still remember so much about my trip. O_o While it did definitely have its downsides I think it was a good place to visit because of my relatives and the attractions we saw.
I would very much love to go to Eurpoe though. 3nodding

I'd love to take a gander through Europe collectively, and naturally, Japan. I'm not so sure about travelling much futher anywhere else though, especially Indonesia. The government over there's as crooked as a twistie. gonk

gonk No kidding. Never know what's gonna happen.
I'm a little iffy at the idea of eating overseas. I wouldn't trust many places. Especially in countries you feel are very different. sweatdrop

XD I've got a feeling I am going to love this topic! Are you learning about another culture? Well yes, I do society and culture at school. Atm we're studying the Amish and they way the live.Who are you learning about? In studies of religion, I am learning about Buddism and have studied Judaism recently.Which language are you learning, if any? I am actually learning Spanish atm, not at school though. My friend who lives in Mexico is teaching me.Have you taken language courses in the past? In year 7 and 8 I did Japanese, it was compulsary. There was also french, but we didn't get to choose.Where would you most love to travel? That's a hard question, I mean I would love to go to Asia, not only because of my heritage but just because it's so beautiful and the people are so polite. I have only ever been out of NSW once, which was to Canberra and some people even say that's in NSW. But in the future, I would love to travel the world.Tell us about the places you have been to...? Bonjour, je m'appelle Louise. Jai seize ans et je suis Gemeaux. Mon anniversaire c'est le vingt-deux mai. Aujourd'hui c'est le mardi le vingt-neuf mai deux mille sept. Dans ma famille il y a cinq personnes. Jai une chienne noire et blanche. Elle s'appelle Bear et elle est tres belle. Je voudrais un lapin. Jai les cheveux violettes et raides et il a les yeux bruns. J'habite au bord de la mer et c'est joli. J'adore la glace et les peches. Je deteste la salade, c'est degoutant! Berk!

My name is Louise, I'm 16, Gemini. Birthday's the 22nd of May. The date was (I think it says Tuesday, can't be effed checking) the 29th May 2007. My family has 5 people. I have a female black and white dog who's name is Bear. She is very pretty. I want a rabbit. I have straight purple hair and brown eyes. I live near the beach and it's nice. I love ice cream and peaches. I hate salad, it's disgusting. Yuck. xp
