( This is a private rp between me and neokitsune, between our FTC's, Antonio and Akiva. Please do no post unless invited to post. It is a continuation from a rp in the main thread.) Antonio groomed himself and then he made his way to the window in front of the sink and he sat down on the sill, looking outside. The usual confidence and snobbery that was always around him seemed to disappear for a moment and he let out a sad sigh, his head slumping as he watched some butterflies flitting about outdoors, going from flower to flower now that spring was here.
He had to wonder, with such a large family as his, and it was quite a large family, how come he still felt very much alone and.....ordinary.

The smell wafted as she got closer, flittering around through the outside world like a little butterfly of brown and gold. Her wings were absent but her paws were still able to float off of the ground a bit thanks to her slight magical abilities. She had very few but that was one of the few she did in fact possess.
It was that same power that lead her to leap up on the sill of the window of the rather large house. Thankful that it was long enough, she batted at a little butterfly that floated by her and lost her balance, tumbling through the window and sprawling out on the sill on the inside. ninja

Antonio couldn't help but watch in slight amusement at the female and he chuckled to himself when she fell at his feet, "Finally decided to acknowledge my superiority and bow at my feet." he said, in a somewhat serious voice, as if he really didn't know how to joke around.

"Well I'd bow at the paws of another if he proved to me that he was worth it. However I'm not worthy of bowing to one such as yourself." With that, Akiva brushed off her cream colored chest and pulled herself to her feet. She wasn't quite sure if he was joking or not but she just decided she'd assume he was. ninja

He himself wasn't sure if she was joking or not, but all he could do was assume she was being serious. With a 'hmph' he hopped off the sill onto the counter, padding about it, his tail flicking about in the air.

Akiva's ears swivvled forward to follow his movements with her tarnished golden eyes, suddenly feeling chilled in the cool breezey air of the house. She was used to being outside, but inside she didn't need the cooling abilities of her forehead gems... which was shockingly weird for her. "Is it always this cool in this place?" She almost felt childish for having to ask it. ninja

He sat underneath the papertowel dispenser and he idly pawed at it, flicking a papertowel about, "Yes, most households remain cool when spring and summer come around. Autumn and winter is when they become warmer." he stated simply, wondering why he was holding a conversation with this female.

"Oh... well... I never knew that." Akiva responded, walking smoothly over to him and glancing up at the paper towel dispenser with strange eyes. With that she flicked a paw and dropped a few more papertowels, giggling as one landed on top of her head and she became a ghost. ninja

Antonio blinked at Akiva when she brought the papertowels on top of her head like that and he felt his heart skip a bit when she giggled like that. Feeling a blush start to go across his cheeks, he turned and hopped off the counter, forcing himself into his 'snob' mode, head held high and tail flicking about in the air in a regal manner.

"I'm the ghoooosssttt of the hoouuussseeeeee!" Akiva said with a goofy giggle at the end, walking on her hind legs and pawing at the inside of the rather large papertowel so she looked like a kid in a bed sheet. Upon his leaping down however, she pricked her claws through it and pulled it off her head with a sheepish laugh and folded the peice of papery cloth on the countertop like it would have been at her master's house. "W-well what do you do for fun then?" It was an innocent question, but then Akiva wasn't exactly what you'd call 'innocent'. More like 'innocent until proven guilty' was what she was. ninja

Antonio sat in the entrance before the kitchen and living area and his large tail flicked about on the ground, "I wouldn't really know..." he said, his bright green eyes looking about, but not really looking at anything. He wished she would just leave him alone, that she would see him like everyone else did and then she would finally leave....and then he would be alone....like he preferred.. He sighed a bit, that lonely sort of look going back into his eyes unknowingly.

'wouldn't really know'? How did he not know what he did for himself for fun? That was just beyond her. Sure Akiva was weirder than most cats in that she liked to flirt a little more than normal, she'd have flirted with him to in fact...
If not for those eyes.
So lonely and pained, Akiva had felt that once before in her life and she didn't like the thought of another feeling the same way she had. Especially not when she was around to try and help. Her small paws tapped forward and she put her small nose against his larger one gently for a split second before pulling back and flitting over towards the top of the sofa, stretching out on her belly with her feathery tail trailing down.
"Well... why don't you try?" ninja

Well, he certainly never expected for her to get so.....intimately close to him like that! His multi-colored face lit up in a blush and he remained speechless for a time. He was glad no one from his family was around to see this, even though he had no idea that Azure, nestled down with her three sleeping kittens, was watching the entire thing and was silently giggling over it.
Coughing a bit and trying to compose himself, he smoothed down the fluffy part of his fur, the blush going away and he padded over to the couch, hopping onto the cushion, but not to the top where she was, "I don't have time for 'fun', I am a show, I must always concentrate on looking my best for the judges." he explained.

Tarnished golden eyes watched him for a moment as her tail flagged back and forth over the back of the sofa gently, making soft rustling noises and throwing the smell of lilies and cinnamon further into the air. She didn't understand show cats. What was it about them that made most of them so uptight?
"Well... I was always told by my master, that to look your best you must do three things. Always respect yourself, always try your best, and always have fun with whatever you do. That's what my master says." Akiva said, almost parroting her magician master for a moment before gazing back down at him with a smile. "Even if you're a show cat, you should always try and have some fun every now and again, otherwise you'll always be so lonely..." ninja

Antonio laid himself down, his back to her so he couldn't see the pained look in his green eyes, "Well....he's wrong. I'm always alone, so fun doesn't matter, thus I must always try to look my best for any shows coming up." he said in an uppity tone.
On the other side of the couch, in a nook, Azure twitched her ears about as she unwittingly easedropped on their conversation. How could he think that, he was family! Looking down at her growing kittens and seeing them all sleeping, she debated going over to them and correcting him.
