Anbu's name fits her quite well. Anbu is Japanese for 'Dark Side', an allusion to her dark view on fun and games. Anbu playing with others usually results in injury or trouble. Her family name, Akarui, means 'bright', alluding to the more caring side of Anbu that has developed.
