Relm was bored. She had thought that once Seifer & Rune were together there would be more oportunities for mischief, but that seldom was the case. Oh, it was easy enough to get the gunblader's ire but Rune... well the White SeeD seemed to be able to take everything in stride. It was frustrating really, but comendable at the same time. Even Terra & Celes for all their dullness could be caught off guard.

The pictomancer stood away from the pair, innocently painting on the canvas on her eisel the cute scene. And it was cute. The couple sat by a stream that was feeding into the sea just barely on the short grass at the edge of the beach. Rune's long hair was down and Seifer was gently pulling a comb through the lengths as they looked out to sea -occasionally turning to each other to catch eyes & smile. A fishing pole lay on the ground beside their legs between them and where Relm stood, a pail of water & a box of bait beside it. Seifer had already spent some time fishing earlier for fun but had tossed back the few fish caught.

Espers, what I wouldn't do for some excitement around here! There's gotta be something I could do! It seemed the idyllic setting of her "siblings" was having an adverse effect on the smaller female making all plans for percociousness stop half formed today. Her red and yellow tipped tail flicked in aggitation behind her, stirring up a small cloud of sand near the ground in the only sign of her irritation. With a smile & a wave of her brush she laughed companionably towards the pair, getting return smiles & waves in reply. Had to keep up appearances.

Now what could she do that would not come back to implement her?

It was not the sound of laughter but the whoosh of fireballs that had the battle-trained pair reaching for their weapons on their other side. Rune's bo staff & Seifer's Hyperion gunblade were rarely far from them and today was no exception. Strawbery blonde hair sifted through the male's fingers to lay upon the spread out flap of his white trenchcoat as both heads turned to see the approaching trio.

Relm too turned, but had no need to reach for a weapon as her brush was already in hand. Convienient that. Battle stance relaxed as her sharp eyes took in the situation. Spiked blonde hair, Orange highly visible garments... smiling the pitcomancer adjusted her beret & brushed casually at her green harem pants. Oh yes... it was most certainly Naruto. Wonder where that nine-tailed kochi of his is? And if he managed to get caught at something, to cause the fireworks. More importantly... do I help him, or don't I?

Making a decision, Relm flipped her brush towards the group. It would not be as effective as the ninja's clone jutsu, but if she concentrated too much it would ruin her innocent act for later if she needed it. A second Naruto, identical as far as anyone could tell to the original appeared beside the real one. This one turned, stuck his tongue out at the white haired red anthro & made a loud raspberry noise before running a different direction while shouting things that would hopefully goad the female to chase it, or at least lob a few fireballs at it instead of Naruto.

Rune placed a calming, steadying hand on the crook of her companion's arm. "Let's assess the situation first." She advised in her soft way. It was a show of the gentle one's affect on him that Seifer did not rush headlong to fight. Still he seethed, a hard and sour look upon his face as his hand clenched Hyperion's handle. I don't like interruptions...

"Hey! Naruto!" Relm called cheerfully, inclining her head to the ninja. Seifer quirked a brow as his frown deepened. Oh, Hyne... she knows one of them.

Laughing, Relm playfully moved towards the ninja and gave him a quick, very casual hug. Long enough to whisper for his ears only "You're not supposed to get caught" before stepping back. Her innocent smile took in all those assembled. "Whatcha been up too Ninja? & who's your friends?

No fight. Darn. Seifer was now almost itching for one. He glowered at the small kochi, not liking being looked at like that. A small smile touched Rune's face to see it even as she patted his arm then turned & lightly kissed the side of Seifer's jaw. They stood as one, weapons held lightly at their sides but not in an offencive manner. At least Rune's posture was not offensive. Seifer practically seethed with bottled energy as he narrowed his blue eyes at the strangers.

"Might as well start with that." Seifer frowned. With a light chuckle Rune shook her head. "Hello."

Unnerve? No. Annoy? Hyne yes. Seifer glowered at the little kochi, blue eyes darting to the other pair at Rune's gentling hand on his arm. The pictomancer bobbed her head at Manami & Ryo as they were introduced, the yellow feather in her beret swaying from the movement. Relm flicked her green eyes at the SeeDs -it was so much easier to think of Seifter as a SeeD rather than an almost-SeeD- at Naruto's question and grinned. The action crinkled her nose the tiniest bit. "Family? Sure, you could say that. One big, happy family." She was jesting, but not being sarcastic. It was a very happy family. "Let me introduce you to Seifer Almasy & Rune Bivrow." A flash of impishness then she turned an innocent smile upon the pair. "Or would that be Bivrow-Almasy?" a blush that matched the points of her ears warmed Rune's face and Seifer stared flatly at the younger female though his arm circled Rune's waist and quite possesively pulled her to him.

"Pleased to meet you." The taller female said softly, her words clearly enunciated to be no more difficult to hear from her quiet manner of speech. A light squeeze of her hand & Seifer nodded, little of the hardness smoothing from his face.

Relm laughed watching Kyubi but suddenly stopped and made a funny face as the kochi perched on her head. the Hell...? I thought she didn't like me. Green eyes held the silent question as she looked to the shinobi. It was his pet after all.

"Depends. What do you mean by new?" Seifer almost drawled out the words, and actually managed a bit of a smile though it was more of a smirk. "Seifer..." The meaning behind Rune voicing only his name was not quite chastising, not quite teasing, very tender, & more than a little amuzed. Relm was bouncing a little to see how the kochi on her head would react. "Except for meeting Naruto I've not met ny others like us. Well, we saw that singer-girl just before we left the agency the day we came home but that's all. The lovebirds don't often venture into populated lands when they do leave those closer to home."

Seifer quirked his left brow, making the scar on his face stretch in an interesting way. He pointedly ignored his 'sister's' jibe at how he & Rune tended to be on their own. He liked it that way. Rune never made him feel like he had anything to explain to anyone for anything. "Then we're new. Showed up about a month ago." Rune moved a strand of strawberry blonde hair away from her thoughtful face then giving Manami a smile of understanding concerning the difficulties of long hair. But Seifer liked her hair down when they were relaxing; liked running his fingers through it and combing it. Which the White SeeD loved. It was after all part of her dream & shy she had never cut her hair. Jst when fighting it was easier & safer to have it up & out of the way. "There are so few like us then?" She asked, soft but clear.

Relm hopped from one foot to the other, making fake irritated faces that Kyubi would not get off her head while trying not to giggle & listening to the others talk all at the same time. She made a face at Naruto, sticking her tongue out at him when he chuckled at her situation & scowling in a playful fashion.

The pictomancer paused in her hopping, stopping awkwardly then putting a hand on her hip as Seifer & Rune exchanged glances. She purposefully did not look at Naruto, pretending to be upset with him. Fun game.

"Pictures of them? Like in a roster?" She had been tempted to check out such a list if there was one, but the other Relm that was an audio had cautioned that fun though that might be there could be pitfalls in doing so that she might regret. Considering the advice & the source -not to mention there was plenty to interest the young girl & keep her occupied- Relm had heeded the caution.

"Maybe they don't get out much or something." She wiggled her nose teasingly at her 'siblings' then remembering Kyubi was still on her head looked up with a glower. Rune chuckled softly and Seifer made a face, falling just short of rolling his eyes. He really liked it much better when he & Rune went off alone. Blue eyes studdied the other couple methodically. Hmph... maybe they're not too bad...

"Wha? Eep! Gah!" Relm could not see what the ninja was doing over here head but jumped each time the kochi peeped as if afraid Kyubi would retaliate against her. Not that she was really worried, but even in Naruto had an idea about her mischievous nature there was never any harm in keeping up appearances of innocence. A bonus to being younger. When Kyubi was finally back on Naruto's shoulder the pictomancer put both hands on her hips and with the cutest scowl on her face bent at the waist to scold her 'friend' -not thinking about the angle or the fact that she actually had cleavage now. That was something new to Relm that she had not quite become accustomed to thinking of herself as having. A the joys of adolescence. "You could warn me your kochi might want my beret for a nest!" Henna patterned ears flicked back & forth, and the red to yellow tip of her tail flicked with mild irritation. "Or at least say something before upsetting her when she's on my head!"

Rune smiled lightly at the pair, half hoping Seifer would follow the blue male's example as she enjoyed when he held her like that but at the same time knowing that the once head of Balamb Garden's Disciplinary Commitee never liked to follow the leader in such a way. Which was right, though Seifer would never admit that he was almost tempted. Blue eyes smirked at the one called Ryu's comment though and his arm around Rune's waist tightened, pulling her closer and making her pale green eyes widen softly then smile. The thumb of his gloved hand brushed lightly against the bare fur of her midsection just beneath the bottom of Rune's shirt. She shivered lightly against him at which Seifer's smirk nearly shifted to a tender smile. Certainly since they came together it seemed each was enough for the other. He was never one for many friends -Fuijin & Raijin had always been enough for him- and Rune clearly had a tendency to watch others rather than make friends but... "Yeah... Guess I can understand the appeal of making a few friends."

If the girls were surprised & showed it that was nothing to the shock on Seifer's face at realizing what he said. Of course, his look of surprise was gone quickly as Seifer smirked & laughed it off.
