So, the other night my dad got me another issue of Curve (yay for him!). I read through most of it (while procrastinating doing homework), and when I got to the inside of the back cover, I started practically bouncing around the room, because it said "Atlanta Pride Festival 2007."
I was bouncing around going "I WANNA GOOOOO," because Atlanta's actually pretty close to here. My dad actually said if things work out, I can probably go. He has a lesbian couple for friends (who I don't really know), and we know another lesbian couple (our old neighbors). So maybe one of them can take me.
*Runs around in circles all hyper and such*
The only thing I'd have to work around it is my summer camp job. If I tried to go all three days, that'd be up to two days I'd need off... *Plots* Though I'm not sure exactly how well it'd go over if I asked the director of the Christian camp if I could have off to go to a gay pride festival... >.<;

Have fun and wear lots of sun screen. I know it is going to be hot out here during pride and I know a lot of people who have got sunburned because they weren't paying attention to the heat and were having so much fun that they didn't realize there were over heated until it was too late. So have fun and keep cool.

Just after posting that warning about sunburns I got sunburned... *sighs* I didn't think I could burn in only 15 degree temperature... I guess I learned my lesson...

Kat Haha. Silly Kat. You can get sunburned even when its partly cloudy. I hope it's not a bad burn. My worst burn I've had resulted in having blisters and everything. D:<

I went to Atlanta Pride weekend last year...and I have a hotel booked to go this year as well. Last year was great except half of it was rained out sad I hope it doesnt storm this year...that would stink.

Most girls I know are taller than me, too. Also, it seems like throughout time, the "average" height for kids is going up. >.o Everyone's getting taller. So that still makes me short.
