just wondering. thought it'd be something interesting to talk about. to me, black simply means the darker existence. it symbolizes pain, anguish, and frustration to me. I think of the color black when you feeling void (empty) inside and feel like you're just going through the motions of life. any other thoughts? do you visit here much?

black. wow i think it's such a powerful color... well if white is the absence of color then black is a composition of all the colors? i don't know. anyway... i agree with you. pain, suffering, death. at funerals everyone usually wears black right? well in asian countries namely china, they wear white. absence of color, nothingness, barren. well that's from my interpretation. black is everything and nothing at the same time. everything because it seems almost chaotic yet it is sparse, empty. in black you see a nothingness. a void. when i see black i think of the shadows, of despair. but it is not evil, it is just a void. well black could be interpreted as evil...
hehe... i'm rambling and i don't think i made much sense... ^_^;;

It depends on where I see the color. It can either mean sophistication or rebellion darkness, gloom, end, death, evil, emptiness, simplicity.... the list can go on. It depends on how the color is applied as to how I would interpret it.

I'd say that... and it can also mean sadness or grief.

For me, black symbolizes darkness; the absence of light.

Black to me means isolation, beauty, night, sleep, death, and absence. I also think it's the prettiest color of all. :3

the color black represents a few different things to me. it can remind me of sophistication, elegence and beauty, but it can also be like a void. something unknown really

Last post since december! woohoo. >.>
Anyway, I think black represent signs of help, victory and even for back-stabbers. But that's just me.
