to me, blue symbolizes calm. it can also symbolize depression or sadness. what does it symbolize to you? ever really think about what colors symbolize?

wow blue is one of my favorite colors. it's deep and is open to a lot of interpretation. it brings about a sense of calmness and peace. almost fluid, like the deep ocean. when i see blue i feel empowered, yet relaxed. i think of the boundless sky and the vast ocean. blue is a wonderful color.
i do think about the symbolism associated with colors. i don't know i'm weird like that. ^_^

I think about it sometimes, especially if I'm going somewhere important and want to wear something that presents a certain type of aura / meaning.

I wear purple a lot. To me it symbolises royalty and pride, and Christ's kingdom on earth. heart

To me, September is blue month. I don't know why; when I hear the month's I picture colors. January is white, august is orange.

The birth stone of September is sapphire. :/

I've heard that dieting people sometimes use a trick where they serve their food on blue plates and it makes them less inclined to eat as much, since there aren't a lot of blue foods or something...it dims the appetite, whereas red stimulates it.

I always have to think of what a color may symbolize, or what emotion a color can evoke.
That's one of my favorite things about blue, actually! It is probably the most versatile color in what emotions can be brought forth.
