On my cable program there is this On Demand menu. I was surfing through it to find more photography guides and discovered a health section. After watching every weight loss clip I went online to www.discoveryhealth.com
It's interesting, they have a challenge going on. When you sign up for it, you get customized meal plans, work out regimens, forums, and your BMI and weight are calculated and the meals form around how many calories you should stay around for weight loss.
It's pretty interesting so far, I love the recipies for the meals. They break it down from vegitarian to even kid sensible meals.
However the one thing I am not liking is you really don't get to choose your exercise programs (as far as I know yet) and although you get to customize your meals, you can't pick and choose what is in the meal (such as one breakfast comes with cereal, fruit, cup of fruit on the bottom yogurt, milk, and coffee with 1 tsp. milk). There is no way I would eat all that but it doesn't let you take it out.
But I think everyone should check this site out, if even for fun to register and play around. Although some things about it are a bit irritating, I've already gotten a wealth of knowledge and meal plans.
